Half way there

The MB6 passed its MOT with no trouble! It got two advisories but they're pretty minor I think. 1 - Offside front floor seat belt anchorage prescribed area corroded but not considered excessive. 2 - Offside rear anti-roll bar linkage has slight play in the ball joint. 1 will just need welding when the time comes and 2 isn't going to matter after I get an MGZS RARB. Also the brake master cylinder has been replaced and woooooow, what a difference! Definitely needed that one doing. The garage didn't want to fit the thermostat I provided because it was a used one so fair enough. I'll find someone who will fit it or I'll tackle it myself. For being a good girl I treated the MB6 to a full set of Team Heko deflectors, plate surrounds and pressed plates. Should be on next week.

Plans for the VTi-S: Updated! Jobs done so far: Replace heater resister pack. Fit an actual VTi-S Gearknob. New thermostat. Fix drivers seat recliner. Replaced clock bulb. Fit new headunit. Replaced missing rubber tray from center console. Replaced dimmer switch. (Thanks Jake!) Replaced hazard warning switch (that I broke). Replaced drivers door window regulator. (2x) Replaced rear view mirror. Replaced parcel shelf. Repaired center heater vent. Replaced headlining. Replaced tailgate seal. Replaced backbox. Replaced distributor. Replace damaged O/S wing mirror. (Thanks Phil!) Replace N/S wing mirror. (Better condition casing and working heated element) Repaired rear right seat-back latch with silicone lube. Dash switch bulbs x2 replaced. Fit new bolts that hold the bumper to the wing. (Originals replaced with random nut and bolt on both sides...) Replace N/S tail light cluster without removing more reflector than needed. (Thanks Jake!) Refurbished all brake calipers. Jobs still to do: Replace front drop links. Replace rubbers and dry interior. Replace tailgate struts. Replace rear door small windows. Replace tyres on both sets of wheels. Learn to clean the car properly. Replace AC pump. Replace handbrake cables. Trace hesitation problem when cold under partial throttle, lambda sensor? Mods wanted/to do/ideas: (Without giving too much away) Exhaust. I think there are gains to be had with doing them .. Just depends on how far you want to go .. At the end of the day, its all about your target and your budget .. Cams and springs is going to be 3-400 sheets .. Thats an IC, P30 & probably a fuel pump too ..

I think they are mate yeah .. Well the EVO has variable valve timing too .. Not sure on the history of the twin scroll and whether they were designed for the 4G63 or not .. But they do seem to be a good shout !!!

thought id treat the car to a new air filter since it hasn't been changed in a while as you can tell by the photos! will also be servicing my dads silver aerodeck and I think he's selling it soon to get something from the DOHC range standard bumper off photo.
