Thats cool, thanks for the info. Yeah, i did also see a thread where someone had hidden them somewhere behind the front bumper, but it wasnt on here and I cant find it now typically. Car looks great, and good colour too
Zimmer frame, because most MB drivers seem to be of that age! Going to lower it more with custom legs and wheels and repaint it to match the car, will be a show prop next year propping the bonnet open to see the turbo! Matt
Yeah me to dude but im gonna give rebuilding mine a go as ive seen the rebuild kits complete with piston for 30 quid a side as i cant afford new or refurbed ones lol
Enjoyed looking through your thread at what you have done to the deck. Its looking good, love the wheels especially. Quick question, are those £20 HIDS still going strong? Any issues?
Cheers @powerofdreams Right, you horrible lot Pics are finally here! Or.. some of them anyway. I'm still making some adjustments and the front end is way too low but it looks so cool!! Suprisingly it doesn't rub, scrape or anything. The only thing did scrape were the front mudflaps which are now removed. The coilovers were a bit of a bast**d to fit to be honest. I had to slightly pull the bottom front forks apart to make them fit the front coilovers and the bolts were seized on the car. I had to replace 4 bolts in the end. When the coilovers are fitted, I used a vernier gauge to make sure both sides of the coilovers are equal. Will be using this for further adjustments!
