Japfest2! Oh what a weekend. Snow foam wash to get rid of all the dirt. After two rounds of cutting compound and one glossy polish. She definitely needed it! Arriving on stand with Shafz and our Civic Coupe mates. Parked with her family. Decided to put on the Japfest stickers I had and also a sticker that a friend made. @Shafzzz has one too. Decided to have a photoshoot with all my mates and the guys from id-workz after the show ended. We stayed until 6:30pm! Picked this up from @jdmsaq. Now I have somewhere to put my Coke! Total mileage for the weekend. Also she passed 95,000!1 point

In that case it's gonna be a sensor. When you take the lambda out of the equation. The ecu will ignore the sensors and refer to a generic fuel table. It's highly likely that it's actually you lambda at fault Imo. You do absolutely need to get the ignition timing checked aswell. 5 minute job and can make a real difference. As Paul said even just try advancing it slightly see if the condition improves. Or then try retarding it see if it improves. But ultimately get it timed up properly. Lookjng af the casting of your new dizzy it looks the same as my aftermarket and mine is almost at full advance. To be where it needs to be. So I'd say your ignition timing is probably out for sure1 point

Yeah its more how smoothly it delivers voltage throughout its range that's important. And it was working spot on in that respect. Very smooth1 point

Yeah, I try to be honest without being harsh, always appreciate the effort people put in1 point

Still has vtec tho the new one. Be interesting to see how they are tho. But I think the need for a turbo is more down to keeping the emissions/economy at an acceptable level. That's why most modern vehicles are turbocharged.1 point

Yes! I would like to see if there's any for sale in the UK to go see and get a first impression! Also forgot to thank @Honda Paul for the chat about other ideas of what could be causing the issues, something to get checked out at least!1 point

Haha nice man. Good when it all works out.. I think you'll be happy when your all done. I drove to japfest with a friend with a modified wrx. And the tuned C4 gave it a spanking in a straight line I even had a passenger and a full tank. Hehe. We were impressed1 point

That's what a lot of people don't know about these mb3's. When vtec kicks in, you go upside down... Goes well! Miss my MB31 point

Zimmer frame, because most MB drivers seem to be of that age! Going to lower it more with custom legs and wheels and repaint it to match the car, will be a show prop next year propping the bonnet open to see the turbo! Matt1 point
