Nothing happening on the car today but i want to expand this thread and as a couple of you have shown interest i thought i'd show off the workshop. It's my mum's house now but she's moved with my stepdad who's in the RAF so she'd rather stay close to him and rent the property to me. So lucky for me i have this space. As i said before i've only just started using this space for cars, just wish i'd have been using it sooner. I know some people don't even have the luxury of a driveway to work on so for this space to go to waste is sacrilege, so great to be using it for it's intended purpose. Excuse the mess, needs a good sort out still. It has enough space to have a car with all 4 doors open if it didnt have the clutter either side, in hindsight my dad would have built it taller and had a lift instead but they were expensive back then. start of my shadowboard and workbench, solid and has a nice 6 inch vice, just picked up a 4 inch vice also. hawk air compressor, think i paid about 130 for it delivered, good enough for now. Buying a taller upright workshop compressor thats a bit more upto the job of my dad, just needs a motor. Entertainment center, good in the summer with turntables set up at bbqs Beam runs the length of the pit to the bench with beam trolly and hoist, pretty handy. And the main feature, the pit. I'd say it's about 5.5ft deep, not sure on exact length but easily big enough for a large car. It has underground cable going to the fuse board and recesses for lights but as of yet it's never had any fitted. more soon
