If they put my insurance up anymore I'll be taking the car off the road, as its already far too much. On a plus side, the new headlights and vti lip have arrived, and the headlights are now on. 15. Cheers guys. To fit the seats it's pretty damn easy if you have a welder. If not it's still pretty easy. Take out the passenger seat and try out on that first there's some brackets on the runners that slide up next to the main frame on the underneath of the seat and you just weld it to it. If not I've seen people put a bar accros the runners, bolt the bar to the runners and then bolt the seats to the bars. Il try and find some pics for you go get an idea.

  20. not done a total full tank on MB6 yet but she did a dorset and back which is 300 miles and then a nights stop start delivering (was not busy so about fifty miles) on almost a full tank so on a run i would say i could get approx 400, or close to anyways. Project MB3 is obviously worse on the long runs but stop start delivering she delivers about 300-350 miles ish

  21. Thank you Krzys i was looking and that is it because my new tailligts came from the uk and that is the hole where the fog light gets in and the portuguese tail lights it´s on the other side that is why it has a cap on it and my other doesn´t have the cap.Now i´m going to drill it and later on i will post an how to guide on how to mount new tail lights

  22. Had a lot of time this morning to read about on the interweb and the Honda service manual downloaded from here! Interweb seems to point at the injectors either dirty or dying. The service manual has told me to get the car running then unplug each one in turn to check if the idle drops, if I unplug one and it doesn't, then it's potentially clogged or duff!

  23. Taken from the How JDM your lights thread, hope this makes sense! Passenger Side 1- To remove the rear light lens, open the boot and pull back the carpet behind light. there should be a push clip remove this with a flat blade screw driver and pull back carpet then you will see the 4 x 8mm fixing nuts undo these , then unclip the multi plug that the loom plugs into this is a push clip with a little tab push down on the tab to release. Now the lens cluster will pull off nice n easy. Done! 2-Ok there there is no rear fog light on the passenger side however honda kindly left us the hole for the bulb holder to go but its has a plastic plug in it and its a moulded item so cant just pull it off so get yer drill out and drill round the edge of it till you have a hole for the bulb holder to sit in! Done before and after the drilling use a file to tidy up edges

  24. Hopefully it can get done without going through insurance. Those boogers seem to write off everything valued at less than a grand now. Gutted for you bud.

  25. Oh no!! It depends on how much is too much! All you can do I suppose is price up the parts and see what he says? Insurance can go a couple of ways, say it's invalid and leave you in the sh1t, only repair/replace the OEM parts or given the age and market value of these write it off as a Cat D/C

  26. Sorry but I had to laugh. £90 is about a tank and a half of super in an MB6 and should give you between 400 and 450 miles depending how you drive it. I average around 275 miles to a tank, that's mostly short journeys though and some heavy right foot action. Loads of good info in there.
