  1. Thanks everyone ye was a lot of work to do in a short amount of time and very little sleep. Wire tucking the headlight wires wasn't too bad once you've stripped the wires from the engine loom. You just pull them all Through the bulk head then then push them through the door hole. And along the wing then underneath the light. I had to extend the earthing wires and side light wires to go in with my USDM mod.

  2. Mandatory Japfest picture dump time! Images courtesy of @Shafzzz because my phone is busted at the moment. Arriving at Shafzzz's house the day before. Filling up in London. Dem sidelights. Whilst getting my subwoofer fitted in a carpark because it was dark out. Jetwash! Honestly had no idea what I was supposed to do with the soap broom. On stand next to Krzys (forgot to ask you about the drill, d'oh!) and Snakey. Sunday morning photoshoot with Shafzzz before I headed off home.

  4. right so here's a pretty brief and lots of pictures of the progress of what i have been doing. i bought a D16Z6 engine with just shy of 100k on it, but i knew it waas good from the bloke i bought it from. i stripped the parts off of it and replaced: Cambet, water pump and oil pump. i stripped it down and painted it black to go in with my theme of engine bay. i then got my mate Ollie to do the cambelt for me as he knows how to do it i will let the pictures do the talking now lots and lots!!

  12. Likewise. Yeah nearer to the end of the show most of us were sat in our boots to watch the track action. Haha no need to thank me, was all good times. I hadn't slept for 30+ hours but I only felt tired when we were stuck in the car hiding from the rain. I was just being shy for the most past. In the brief moments of sunshine I went and actually checked out the other stands. And yeah rain whilst my tail light was out would've been disastrous anyway.

  16. Not quite that much, from what I can work out I put in 44 litres Friday eve, then 10 litres and it's just a smidge above the bottom line so probably used 50-52 litres.

  22. Not bad! My fuel light made an appearance at 300 miles! Filled her back up with it reading 320 but only got 44l back in so had more to go! Spent a solid 35 miles with the IAB's open and a fair bit cruising at 80! Think the only reason I made it back was the stint I spend doing 60 on the way down!

  38. Good to see everyone had a cracking time at Japfest! All of your M's really looked in business! Right... I have now got over my moments and now back on my feet with another car. It have to be the worst car I have ever driven so far. It's a MK5 Ford Fiesta 1.3 (Kent Pre-Crossflow engine) Despite it's a typical gutless rust bucket, it was free! My boss bought it for me to get myself to work, nice of him! I hope to get a Aerodeck sometime in the beggining of next year. I was looking at other Jap estate cars but none of them really tick the boxes. So an MC2 Aerodeck it is! This also means I can keep the remaining parts from my MB3, VTi-S side skirts, spare headlights and all the rest of it. I still haven't even started stripping down my MB3. Now got a lot of catching up to do on here
