  3. good looking motor you got there, and some brilliant photo's you've got their not sure on the last one though...
  4. ah but i'd like to point out that we know what tyre(s) he's running on it AVON ZZ3, good choice there mate, wanted some for mine but couln'd get any.
  5. well if the ek doesn't have abs, and the dc2 doesn't have abs then it's just swap everything over, not done it my self, but with the front's i believe you can swap the hub's over complete with caliper disk etc, with the rear's i heard it's easier to swap the rear bearing over along with disk's/caliper/carriers/etc leaving the arm in place that way you only need to adjust the front tracking...
  6. Yer they are zz3 looks like not many people want to no about TRINITY D was going to start the story of her this weekend but not many peep want to know aww, can't i have a sneaky peek after guessing the tyre's correctly....

    axel stands

just for you james, brand new railway sleeper's that can take in excess of 10 ton's, it's gonna be alright, and better than the axle stand's we had bent and then repaired, and these sleeper's have been used to pack jack's out to lift a 2.5 ton loco, so a 700kg van is nothing...
  8. cool certianly different, do want one a longer one as mine is giving me shoulder ache after a while doing town driving...
  9. here's a start of the list; 1. philgor 2. everyone else.... 3. any i havent included
  10. Hahaha, with iShift, that would need sacrificing the trunk and rear seats for that lump of steel.. would have 2500Nm though.. mmm nah more torque needed, D16 750 with i-shift, or do we hold out for a DC16 21 730 Euro 5 EEV after all V8....
  11. the other thing you could try after checking the cabin air inlet, pollon filter, seal, and the bleeding and changing of the coolant is to try the heater with the recirculation on so it's heating hot air. tbh, i've always' found the heating to be good in both my car's....
  12. if you go from 10/40 to 5/40, the oil viscosity at cold will be less, but will be the same when up to tempture. so a thinner oil would help on cold day's but it would stay at the same thickness as 10/40 when warm the best bet is to ask the oil man, he could advise you on what oil to use.
  13. way different fitting's got to make your own frames/adapter's up for them the other option is mg seats' as the front's are a straight swap but the rear do need modding...
  14. Don't hold you're breath, you'll go very purple and dead before Dave gets it out! we do know it going to have (at the moment subject to change at any notice) is going to be a twin cam lump, but not a B-series lump. so looking at d16a9 maybe, having said that, ep3 lump is a twincam... could be a H22 though so d series is ruled out and we didnt say that it wasnt a B series so sarah are you telling us that it is a B...???? hmm what about a N22A/B or a 4EE2.... now that be something.....

  16. if it got a sunroof check the seal's around the sunroof and the drain's as well..
  17. you need to find out if ABS was an optional extra on the ek, if it was you can remove the whole ABS system from the car and have no issue's, but if the ABS was standerd fitment, it's gonna need to have ABS as it's a failure for the mot test. not sure if you can use the ex drive shaft's with dc2 hubs, engine and gearbox, and there may be a mounting bracket on the hub's already. as for the rear's you need to get the rear disk's off to see if the rear of the hub has the abs rulcuter ring on the back, and same again i should have the mounting bracket/hole on the back for the abs.
  18. also remember the OP is in serbia, so it's gonna need an oil that can cope with -20 to +40 tempture so 10-40 might be too thick for winter, maybe drop down to 5-40?
  19. if you tilt the bonnet all the way up it should come out fairly easy without ripping the crossmember, IIRC i think it spot welded on in place's...
  20. i'm just wondering who own's what, trying get a figure to see how many civic m's in the club. please read before voting. PLEASE.... you all get up to 2 votes, if you own a 5dr hatchback, please vote "i own 1 5door hatchback" if you own 2 hatch's please vote "i own 2 5dr hatchback" if you own 1 aerodeck and 1 hatch, vote "i own 1 hatchback" and "i own 1 aerodeck" if you own 2 aerodeck and 1 hatch, vote "i own 2 aerodeck" and "i own 1 hatchback" same if you own 2 hatch's and 1 deck. and as for those lucky bugger who own 3 hatch's and 3 deck's well vote the approate option's..... e.g. dave would vote 1 aerodeck and 1 hatchback. davemb2 would vote 2 hatchback's philgor would vote 1 aerodeck james wouldn't vote as he doesn't own ether (no offence just using you as an example) this is for people who have a m in their name right now so not "i'm buying an m in the furture" or "i owned an m last year" etc just want to know how many people have an m right now and weither it's a deck or a hatch. and you don't need to use both vote's everyone clear? thank you and get voting
