    I've always worked on the assumption that as im not a full time mechanic, i dont need the best tools .. Ie snap on. As great as they are, i could never justify their prices. Where as i agree with Jake, for most of us that tinker, the other end of the spectrum does just fine

    Leaks are an issue .. Not heard many people talk about coolant smells though

    Had a freind that did this on his polo gti .. Actually drove quite well.. Only issue was when he MOT'd it, while the tester had her up in the air, the spring came out its seat = FAIL lol .. Not sure these are similar desgin or whether you could do anything else to prevent it though
