  1. I made a square number plate today as I thought it will look better on the front, but I'm not sure.. What do you guys think? I might put my old one back on
  2. Thats cheap! It cost me around £1800 for the 1st year but then, if I got a Corsa, 106 or Saxo it would cost well over £2000. I was going to have a Nova 1.2 GTE as my 1st car but it would've cost me over 3 GRAND to insure it!!
  3. Nice motor mate, I got a MB3 myself and I'm 20 (insurance is a rip! ) I have never seen those bumper lips on these Civics before, did you fit them? Looks quite nice! Looking forward to seeing some mods
  4. Nice! Love it I do like the eyebrows, did you make them yourself?
  5. They will look perfect on your M Shame they don't fit but I would just get 4x100 hubs from a MB2, MB3 or MB4.. or Rover 400's
  6. Cool thanks for the input. As for my Civic not been lowered, it shouldn't be much of a problem when the wheels poke out more. Problem is when I put the alloys back on with those tyres, its going to effect the speed and fuel economy. I noticed a huge difference when I fitted the original steelies with 175/60/14 tyres on, felt soo much better!
  7. That looks amazing in white! I always love MB's in white and don't see a lot of them around.. I think a boot lip will look nice and keeping it smooth at the same time.. Top work mate
  8. I'm going to write this down as it will be handy.. Cheers mate
  9. Cheers lads.. I want to get smaller tyres but the money isn't there for the moment So I might get 5mm spacers from Halfords which only cost 10 quid for two.. A bit too cheap but its only for part time until I get a set of decent tyres
  10. Sweet mb3 mate.. looking forward seeing the mods fitted
  11. I got these TSW Stealth alloys and I had them on my Civic for a couple months.. They rub on the inner arch and bottom suspension arm when on full lock. I thought its because it got huge tyres on (205/65/15) So will lower profile tyres stop the rubbing or are the wheels too wide? I did look at the offsets on here but now I'm all confused! Any help will be great! Cheers...
  12. X2 Change of plan, I'm getting those Ring Luminator fogs from Halfords and fit them in the fog blanks I don't know how I will mount them but I will work something out
  13. I saw these ring luminaters in Halfords today! I didn't think they will fit.. I will get them soon, cheers
  14. Something like this? Excuse my bad editing skills
  15. Still no plans on getting a custom made backbox as I got to renew the road tax soon.. But I am looking to get fog lights but no sure what style to go for. I wanted to get mb6 fogs but they are hard to find and can be expensive. I'm thinking about getting these from Halfords or Ebay and tint them yellow, fit them in the middle bumper vent either side of the registration number plate.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140891873762? ... 97.c0.m619 What do you guys think?
  16. ^^What Tom said.. I picked up a pair from scrappy for... nothing! Something small will make a big difference
  17. Ideal.. some nice photos of your Civic in the snow It sucks down here in Cornwall.. there is no snow ere and I still got to go work
  18. I thought you were selling your car when I saw this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-V-HONDA- ... 337f1ca149
  19. Yep! But for an extra 50 quid or a bit more, I can get a proper custom made back box like you guys said. So I will give it a few weeks and see what happens. I want to do it the proper way
  20. I phoned up the insurance company today and said the rear silencer on my car is blowing (my excuse ) and want to purchase a stainless steel Piper back box as its cheaper to replace. This girl over the phone (she sounds hot) asked me is it a performance item? Me being an idiot I said yes... She then said that will be fine to use belongs its not violating the uk road requirements or something like that.. It doesn't make any sense but i'm not complaining
  21. A friend of mine got a Piper Performance back box (3.5" tail and 2.25" straight through) that he would sell to me for 50 quid. Its brand spanking new! But its a universal fit so it will take a few modifications to make it fit. And is it worth fitting? I'm just worried because it will affect my insurance big time.. Take it or leave it?
  22. Your deck is already looking proper sweet! Shame your Prelude had to go.. I always have a soft spot for them. I cleaned out the intake too just before Christmas, made quite a difference to mine. Keep up the good work and I cannot wait to see the B20 swap/conversion even though that will be a long wait
