  1. It has been quite an productive day today. Whilst I took the starter motor off, thought I start taking other bits and pieces off whilst I'm at it. Literally everything inside the old Civic has been taken out. Including sunroof, window regulators, door handles, dash switches and the speedometre, the whole lot! Took the MGZS spoiler and back box off. The spoiler will be for sale soon if anyones interested. Beaks bar removed and other bits and pieces. Fitted the VTi-S side skirts to the Aerodeck which looks a whole lot better! It's really horrible looking at the old girl now No rust on the seals! Test fitting the rear VTi-S lip on the Aerodeck to see if it's possible to fit with some modifications. Obviously the lip is too short on the side but my mate reckons he can add a bit on on each side using fibraglass!
  2. It end up being the stater motor. The live wire snapped and I haven't got a soldering kit. So I took the motor off the old Civic and it now starts like a beaut
  3. The Deck won't start at all today. I turn the ignition on, the usual lights on the dash come on but the engine won't turn. All I hear is a click noise when turning the key. The battery has 12.36v according to the multi-meter. Sometimes the immobilizer flashes like mad when turning the key but it doesn't always do this. It's been pi$$ing down since last night so I'm wondering if water might of got in somewhere? I disconnected the battery right now and leave it for half hour also
  4. Ah yeah I remember that thread now. I comment on it a few times. Good luck with turbo'ing the EG!
  5. I LOVE this car... The double din looks nicely installed too
  6. I forgot you can get mid spoilers for the hatches! The EF's look cool too..
  7. I'm liking where this is going! Get those parts on and you're pretty much done! Where did you get the headlight protectors from?
  8. That is pretty cool, like it a lot mate! Have you got a build thread on here?
  9. I been wanting a Aerodeck spoiler since I got the car but so far no luck and they seem hard to come by! So I'm wondering... do any of you know any other estate cars which have mid spoilers? I cannot think of any right now apart from aftermarket mid-spoilers made for the BMW Touring. Of course, a different spoiler would have to be made to fit... Cheers!
  10. I already got an ignition barrel and full lock set which is coming off my old Civic. I will try sort out the SRS light today
  11. I would love to but cash just isn't there right now. But I got something in mind when I go back to work. It's something a little bit different and might not be to everyone's taste. But it will do till I get something decent
  12. I know someone too who has a Peugeot Partner with a broken key in the ignition. All you have to do is turn the ignition with your nail and it starts
  13. Been out for a mini cruise tonight and.... WTF?! Who can spot the problem?
  14. I didn't! And you lucky man! Maybe that's because you have a B18 whilst mines only a wee D15 I guess you cannot have both... But more grip is probably safer!
  15. Yeah it should be fairly easy to do. Or I might just sell the MGZS back-box and get something a little bit louder
  16. But you have already modifi...... ohh I know what it is Mmm... now you got me thinking! I don't like the idea of having large wheels on a small engine but I see a lot of people have 17" alloys on there Civic's without much problems. If I pick up MGZS suspension, I will consider it
  17. To be honest I was cutting corners when I was desperately wanting to lower the MB3. I will most defiantly be doing it right on the Aerodeck. I know the feeling! Do something else on your VTi-S to take your mind of the waiting. Hey I just realized it's bank holiday Monday! Ideal, more time playing with the car
  18. Oh! I just realized you got rid of the deck, gutted... But hey, nice Accord. I got a soft spot for these
  19. Yeeeees........... It was my fault how I was pushing the old Civic around that corner but it all went pair shape since fitting those sleeves. I never had a problem with the EG lowering springs but then, better to be safe than sorry
