    My girl has now gone to car heaven. A bloke who buys cars for scrap saw it and offered me good money for it as it stands with the engine. I couldn't decline his offer so she's now gone. Least it's a load off my mind seeing as the land owner wanted the car shifted and I got everything I wanted off it. I really wanted to keep the engine but it's just wasn't worth keeping It was horrible seeing my first pride & joy been trailer-ed away

    I have to admit the brakes on the M's can be complete f**kers to work on! I shouldn't blame the car seeing as it's been neglected by the previous owners

    I had a big fallout with the Aerodeck today.. It's been nothing but a complete DISASTER! It's been stuck on the ramps at work since Monday morning. I only wanted to change the rear calipers as they were sticking. But whilst inspecting, the disc and pads have to be replaced. I wanted to upgrade the brakes but money is tight as usual so I bought brand new Apec disc and pads. The rear disc screws were complete BAST**DS to remove! And then when I tried to replace the caliper, the hand-brake cable was completely rotted into the caliper mechanism. So, new hand-brake cable ordered and then turns out it's the wrong one. Now I have to wait till tomorrow.... And theeen.... when I was removing the cable which involves dropping the heat-shield and exhaust, every single bloody bolt either sheered off or snapped And theeeeeeeeeennn....... a hammer fell off the 4 poster ramp and landed on one of the alloys, leaving a kink and taken a chunk of paint off it. That was it, I just went f**king loopy

    I completely agree with you there. The only reason why I wanted to go to the B route is because my mate will be doing a K20 conversion in his EK and then sell the B16a2 to me (cheap) But if it doesn't go to plan, then I'm sticking to D-series

    I'm pretty much in the same boat mate. My Aerodeck has the same engine as yours (d15z8) and I would like a bit more power. I mainly want to do an engine conversion seeing as the engine in the Aerodeck has done 160'000 miles. It's either a full rebuild on the current engine or move on to a B-series

    And gave it a wash and wax today. With tyre shine this time... Oh yeah, new cambelt kit fitted yesterday. That literally only took an hour to do! But I didn't have enough time to fit the Beaks bar, springs and rear caliper. Looks pretty tough with 205 tyres on the rear
