I think the Goodridge hoses were easier fitting wise, no messing about with rear lines being too short!

My Civic MB2 Project! Discs and pads needed!
Krzys replied to fyfie5's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Yeah with the Cupra R and the 9-5 Aero they'd run out of puff about 1500-1000rpm before redline meaning you were better off changing gear then and not right up! VTEC engines demand you take them to the limiter when you're wanting to get a move on! Also find you can't just floor it in a higher gear if you need a sudden turn of speed because of the lack of torque. It's all down to driving style and what you prefer! If you're on the motorway all the time you'll probably get fed up with it to be fair whereas in a turbo petrol (or diesel) you can just poke the throttle and go.- 1,645 replies

My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress

I had my entire car done in a month, inside and out but was a decent bodyshop and paid a heart-wrenching price for it! But six years on when I see the car locally it still looks mint! -
Worries me what you get up to with the little monkeys But yes I know what they're like for hiding things!

This is what I read. While a vehicle that uses DOT 3 may also use DOT 4 or 5.1 if the elastomers in the system accept the borate compounds that raise the boiling point, (a temperature upgrade) a vehicle that requires DOT 4 might boil the brake fluid if a DOT 3 (a temperature downgrade,) is used. Additionally, these polyglycol ether based fluids cannot be mixed with DOT 5.0, which is silicone based.

Once you've had boost you'll want more! I've had two turbo charged petrol cars, love them! Not as bad as you think on fuel on a run or steady driving but urban driving will hammer fuel regardless! 200sx are an awesome car, but demand a fair bit of money these days for a good one! I actually had thoughts about the new Civic Type R yesterday until I saw the expected prices!- 1,645 replies

Correction, you can't mix dot4 with dot3, sorry! It's dot5 you shouldn't use but 5.1 is fine.

As above, heard about the comments and it p1ssed me off to be fair! I might be harsh on you at times but only over important safety things, swirl marks shouldn't be slandered like they were being! -

Does your interior light come on when you open the door? Could be the switch on the pillar in the door shut?
