MB2 TRINITY D. K26. 23/11/14 BRAND NEW MINI MOD ????????
Krzys replied to DAVEMB2's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Nice! I wouldn't let anybody drive it if it were mine -
Had it just over 24 hours and already starting to regret it...... If you can see it, a pulley has gone walkabout and is wedged between the block and the bay, thanks Bradford for once again confirming why I'm sceptical about buying cars from your City! So the VTi-S will be staying off the road until I can get it to the garage, sorted and then gone through with a fine tooth comb, I'm thinking of asking for ALL of the belts, pulleys, tensioners, fluids etc that ever need to be changed at any point in the cars life be changed! I need reassurance that all is well again because I've lost confidence already! I'm absolutely fuming! I know this isn't the end of the world etc but I fully expected something like this to come from my 13th car in what I can only describe as the year of bad luck which seems to have reared it's head once again! So now I've got to ring the insurance and get the Accord insured again until the Civic is sorted....good job I hadn't sent the tax disc off for the refund!

The Accord is in that boat too!
-
Should be cheap enough, did plugs and leads, fuel filter, back box, centre pipe and a CV boot for about £100
-
You could go for Phillips superbrights or Osram nightbreakers?
-
Sounds like you've got it localised though! I reckon it could be the cap itself?
-
Looks good! Hope you can work out the Apexi, I haven't got a clue either
-
It's the baffle that's supposed to silence the exhaust, thought I heard a pop yesterday Had the same happen with my Spoon system on the EK!
-
So rock n roll eh!
-
Sounds good! If you need hubs there's a few Civic's being broken in the for sale section or PM 10000rpm, sure you'd find a set of hubs easily!

Glad I'm not going down that route Well the radio is in, once again the hammer came to the rescue! Also noticed a little something round the back of the car that amused me but I'll show you through a couple of photos.... Think I could do with some touch up paint for the rear badge!
-
I had this exact same dilemma with my last M, was the same colour as yours, had a full VTi-S kit on in it's original pirates black and some days I liked the overall look and other days I wanted it colour coded or a different colour again!

Not sure on the MG ones, are they 4x114's?

Cheers everyone, currently having a break from fitting my headunit, being a right sod, forgot how much space you don't get at the back
-
Interesting! I'll keep that in mind when I get round to it as something to get checked! Also wouldn't surprise me about the vent given where it got the car from, I've rescued her from further neglect!

C.O.T.M DECEMBER VOTING ENDING THURSDAY 6pm
Krzys replied to DAVEMB2's topic in Car of the Month 2013 winners
Bloody hell someone voted for mine, thanks! I'll put my vote in if I ever decide who's to vote for!! -
Not heard any noises, just heavy with a low biting point, probably a sagging pressure plate?Dr BHM Esq, they aren't Poles at my local, middle-eastern boys
-
I'll get my brother to do the clutch but I'll help/supervise Be a good excuse for a lighter flywheel too! Would be nice if it was mint but I'd probably have to buy my old M back and paint it or buy that silly expensive Silver one

Right, finally home! So fetching the car the weather was pretty english.... A photo just so I don't forget the starting mileage.....plus look, a full tank of fuel!! So she's finally been to her new home for the first time (Very briefly I might add!). Accord will be going into hibernation tomorrow or in the next couple of days! Sorted my first niggle, the blower resister, bit of a b****r when the stubby screw driver goes walkies and the light was terrible outside! I need to replace the center heater vents, the right one isn't good! Also I need a bulb for the clock, note that it's in the correct format anyway! Finally, despite having driven nearly 80 miles at this point in one hit, I think I need a thermostat! Hope this is why the idle is a bit all over the place too! Didn't take any photos of the car really, spent half the afternoon with it p1ssing down with rain, then it went dark! Definately needs the tracking sorting as she pulls to the right and is a bit wayward on the A roads! But the greasy roads and having fuel injection made for some fun regardless! Also on the list of things to do: Drivers seat back adjusters just spins.Drivers window clicks/bangs when the window gets to the top if you keep hold of the switch, think the regulator teeth are chewed.Knocking from the rear, hoping it's droplinks, got an MGZS180 ARB to go on!Clutch is heavy with a low bite, makes some quick gear changes difficult! So she's alright, but needs some TLC, she'll be rate in the end!

I'll post them when I get home, I'm just out hooning

I picked her up about noon, not anywhere near a PC for pictures as I've pretty much been out all afternoon, but I did find time to sort the blower resister and change the clock into 24h!
