  1. That took three days of thrusting to work out! I'm properly compensating here! Gonna crack the tap out later, see if they'll fit They'd be a very unique mod! Just tell a bodyshop they have to fit!
  2. Stick a V8 to it and see how quick and easy it'll spin then!

  4. I'm sure you could get some off the bay and fit them with some handy work on the old hammer! It would be different http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAAB-9-5-2-3T ... 638wt_1459 Do it Tom! How long are they? Not got the measuring tape with me so I'll have to use my d1ck, this may take a while at half an inch at a time but that's why I've got a big turbo! How many thrusts long is it then? 195cm! Wing mirror motor and washer pump now sorted Going to a photoshoot meet a week on Saturday so whoring photos will follow that!
  5. Gone in the normal place I see, might want to budget for the other drive shaft dude! Once you've replaced one it's a matter of time before the other goes if it hasn't already been done! Toad Ai606 is a bang on system, had one on my EK4, was perfect!

    axel stands

Unlucky Phil! I use axle stands but leave the jack just mm's shy of the car too, you never know, it could give you the extra fraction of a second to escape!

  8. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_255207 how was you brother not killed had one of these xplode on releasing it down I remember many years ago my dad was using a fairy worn trolley jack on a Saab 9000 Turbo we had, jacked it up and turned around to get an axle stand and we heard a "pop" and then saw the car making it's way to the ground, the jack had gone!
  9. Bloody hell this will be interesting! I'm intrigued if the engine will even physically fit in the bay!?
  10. Depends if you're doing any or all of the work yourself? Parts don't seem to cost that much it's the labour that stings you! Probably looking around £1000 at a guess if you're paying someone to strip it down, clean everything and replace bits and build it back up!

  12. Looks smart! That's the thing with cars, always something that needs doing! But for the time that you get where everything is perfect and you can give it a good thrash.....bliss! Are you sticking with those alloys or did you have something else in mind?
  13. My brother was swapping the tail pipe on his Civic Type R (EP3), the car was only on the jack out of the boot and as he was wiggling the pipe off he rocked the car, the jack tipped over and the car landed on him, no injuries luckily as the pipe that was above him came free but I did have to get the car in the air so he could get out from under it!
  14. Nice to see one with the english part more readable than the Japanese part
  15. For us shorter people, we can move quickly enough to get out of the way, you lanky fuckers are bound to get caught And us fat 4ucks, the car bounces off us and lands back on the jack!
