That's fantastic! Nice one to everyone who contributed!

I'm sure you could get some off the bay and fit them with some handy work on the old hammer! It's Saab's own motor dude! Probably the only one not riddled with comon faults like the GM lumps! Got my new washer motor ordered for all of £7.50 delivered and the wing mirror motor, again for £7.50, as long as the weather is decent Saturday morning I should have them both fitted and then I'll be able to clean the windscreen! A couple of nights ago all the salt was being sprayed on the windscreen and because I couldn't spray water it just made life difficult, how we take things for granted eh?!

Mr Brown's Project MB3- Front End Repair Underway
Krzys replied to Mr Brown's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
I have a strong suspicion you know a little more about this than you're letting on. Being Mr Brown visited Knight over the weekend I have to concur! -
Probably so you can get one finger between the front tyre and arch at the front and two fingers at the back for the agressive look?

Picked her up Saturday! I really am in love! Sooooooooo nice to sit in, lovely to drive and fun to go around upsetting people with! Already had the pants down on an EVO Couple of little jobs to do, the nearside wing mirror only adjusts up/down so you have to prod it to move it left/right, eBay has a complete unit for less than a tenner and it's only three bolts! Also the washer motor doesn't seem to work so again, eBay for around a fiver delivered and a few bolts behind the arch liner should see it right! Other than that I'm smitten!

First the spoiler and now this! All on that red rug though so it's all good! -
Yes, hubs, brakes and wheels would all make excellent upgrades!!
-
Alloys look sweet! I had thought of getting mine done like that when I had my MB! Should look really good against the blue!
-
Awww wow looks brilliant now the motor is in! You're over the "hump" now mate on the mechanical side of things, just lots of "small" jobs to get her running!

One more day!!! My trip to Le Mans & Nurburgring in June are going to be uber comfy!

Shame the hubs are 4x100, I've got some Rota's which look the same as the 98spec ones! Did you change the headlight or just open them up and do them yourself? Looks good so far!

Loving the maticulous care you're taking with the choice of mods! One very very clean and rare car!

Bloody hell dude, have you got a grudge against curbs? Sticker looks good! -
Cheers dude! Already got bits on their way so I can get my headunit in! Need to keep the 32GB USB stick in use! Saturday needs to hurry up!! Not long now chap. It's the first time in some years I've been excited about picking a car up! But it is the first time I've waited a week to pick a car up, usually I buy the same day or pick up the next day!

Hit it with a hammer! Seriously looking forward to seeing this, looking closer and closer to done each day!

Awesome idea! Plus with the interior having only gone in not too long ago it would be a shame to see the hard work and money just go to someone else! Very noble of you indeed! Shame you couldn't trailor the Deck with Ruby to show stands!

It was my pleasure, anything to give back to the community! Just glad we can be of help, however little we can do it's still better than nothing!

It certainly is dude! The Omega has one cracked cam cover, one leaking cam cover (both knackered), there's a coolant leak somewhere, the gearbox has become problematic, sometimes won't change up from 2nd, sometimes 1st! EML is on reporting two failed CATs but it's the four lambda sensors which isn't much cheaper than the CATs would be! Then it's due an MOT, two tyres are barely legal, plus it wants the cambelt, waterpump and pulleys changing. It's just not worth doing, it won't make the car much more vaulable, certainly wouldn't recoup the cost of repairing anyway! I don't need a big car, I've just had enough of small cars Thanks everyone for the comments! When you are passing next, can I have a go? Dorset isn't somewhere I tend to pass by very often! I'm sure we'll end up at a meet together sometime! We can be queue buddy's at Japfest again! But I'd have to park with the punters!

Car of the Month Febuary 2013 Winner Is crazzzydawn!

It won last year when it was installed I know, I voted for it! -
Not a fan of three-spokes! Wood trim could be something for the future, see if someone does a kit to swap out for something darker perhaps!
