  1. R33 GTSt is actually on the top of my list, I would love an S14 but I don't like having the same car as other friends in our little circle haha, it's cool how me and the group of mates all have different cars
  2. The wheels look amazing! I love 3 spokes, love 90's jap metal and love 300ZX's this is all a win in my book!
  3. Mi ah like how it look so 90s staarr, dem ah di badman taillights yuh ah jus need di roof spoila an di M diffuser seen. Dis be a propa badman spec cyaar dem ah get a 10/10 from me rasta.
  4. EK4 must've been fun to track! Properly good handling cars! I miss boost now I'm really considering going for a scoob after my EP3 but I just know it can't take the abuse I'd throw at it like a Honda can, I just want something in the big leagues of Japanese cars now, I've had the baby turbo (starlet GT), the civic type R, I now want something in that next tier but I don't know what yet!
  5. Did he prefer the EP3 or? And yeah it was more of an impulse buy I think! And wow that's a big list to go wrong reminds me of my starlet GT on a larger scale
  6. My mate had a pulsar GTi-R for about 2 weeks, he bought it, got really excited by the power apparently it was brutal (280-300 or around that mark) but couldn't afford to run/insure it so sold it on so I never got to go in it, only car with an SR20 I've been in is Sorivitys 200SX and that's seriously seriously made me miss boost again That project sounds so fun! I'd love to have a project like that, that's what my EP3 was meant to be before I decided I like it more than my 325i day to day
  7. Older but just recently passed his test meaning a 220bhp RWD BMW isn't a likely car to get himself insured on! I love Pulsar GTIRs I'd love one one day but I'm too scared to run one/gearbox issues scare me haha
  8. Tbh brother just do what you need to do at your own pace, in an ideal world we'd all have our cars exactly as we imagine, as soon as possible but as you say, everyones financial situation is different and not everything is as easy as we hope it would be! It's a nice car and to be honest I prefer half leather to full anyway (more comfortable on long journeys to me), and the front sprayed strips look really good! Nice to see the little subtle changes making such a difference bro! You're really good at spraying such a difficult colour too I can barely get flat black out of a can to work
  9. I don't like using the BMW on Morrisons/town trips though cause it gets like 15mpg with the climate control on, it's way better than the EP3 on fuel on the motorway though!
  10. My exhaust means my mum doesn't normally like me shifting above 3k, which in an EP3 as you know is difficult because of ratios, literally anything above 30mph I have to be in 6th or she gets annoyed
  11. Well this derailed. Took mum out to Morrisons in the type R. Had to turn out of a sideroad and no one was really giving me space, saw the opportunity, floored it in 1st to 30 and chirped/leapt into 2nd gear. Swift smack on the left arm and asked why I was showing off. 'Mum that's only 30 we're doing 25 now haha' Mums, ey?
  12. @Krzys I don't think he can get insurance on the BMW yet so I'm not too sure! Saves the hassle though so worth a look. Yeah and every other car is boring and french, the supercars out and about in Geneva were nice though!
  13. The gf still asleep yeah? Where's the updates?!
  14. Driving in France is a nightmare, a lot of their motorways are basically 80mph dual carriageways so when two limited HGVs try to battle it out, it's really annoying. You have to plan ahead and know what to do in order to avoid getting caught behind lorry drivers who want to fight eachother across two lanes. If my EP3 had usable back seats (low + low exhaust) I'd keep it as my sole car, however going in my friends IS200 has made me try to convince my brother in law to go halves with me on one (he takes train to work, I drive to work, so if I use it during the week then the EP3 on weekends etc). Then I sell the BMW and add that money to the funds for the next mad Jap car!
  15. Major thread resurrection! I took this to Santa Pod again in June last year and managed to get a 15.4 at 91mph with a 2.1 60ft in it this time, which considering the conditions were less than ideal I was more than happy with Got the windows tinted about a week before I decided the EP3 was a good car to buy! Still have this, barely gets used I think if I didn't take it to Geneva it'd have done around 400 miles these past 10 months since I got the EP3. But yeah, Geneva, it was awesome. Longest journey I've done in this car and very surprised with it. Over 1800ish miles it averaged 36.2mpg at 80mph which for a 2.5 straight 6 petrol pre low emission BMW engines is really good! Cruise control literally saved my life and made it so easy for cross continent driving, as well as having the torque I lack in the EP3 to let's say.. clear congestion . A while ago I got digital speedometer coded into the car so the central display between the dials showed the speed, on this trip I found out that if I change the units from Miles to Km, it changes the odometer AS WELL AS the digital speedo readout! Making it really easy to set cruise control to the speed limit and not have to do sums in my head constantly to work out mph to km/h Not sure what I'm going to do with this, barely gets used, won't make much money on it if I sell it. Appreciating the climate control in the current weather it counters the fact it has black leather and the tinted windows help it a lot. Recent pics! On the ferry in Dover about to disembark on this journey: MPG midway through the trip, stayed between 35.8-36.2 the entire journey, car ticked over 90000kms in Northern France (~56k miles): During the first stop-over in Bourge-en-Bresse, France. Such a pretty little place, and amazing amazing patisseries the breakfast there was top notch. View from the Hotel room from our stop on the way back, a nice little Campanile in Laon, France, this place was absolutely stunning. And the aftermath of 1700+ miles through mostly motorways I have lots of pictures of scenery and the cars at the Geneva Motorshow if anyone wishes to see them . The trip was seamless and the BMW made it all so easy, it's such a good motorway cruiser and incredibly comfortable. Petrol is cheaper on the continent but if I were to roadtrip again I'd take a diesel. Diesel is 80ish pence per litre there whereas petrol is 99p-£1.03/L atm. Word of warning though if I knew beforehand how expensive French tolls were I would've taken less stop offs and all nighter'd it to Geneva. £350 in tolls over a weekend, less than that went on fuel alone!
  16. Well tinted windows are looking unlikely as the company I use are one of the more expensive ones, and I need to free up a bit of cash before Japfest so I'm removing it from the list and adding in Tom's suggestion. New List: Japfest1 to do list - CF bonnet on with aerocatches - Ghetto refurb stock wheels - Eibach camber bolts and FRSU - Avoid hedges
  17. So when you gonna take a burnout video?
  18. Nice weather means nice times to cruise, had a slight issue where I had to re tighten the suspension and now it's all spot on! My ball joints have a bit of play though but nothing major, I'll try and get them sorted but they're not urgent apparently and I don't push the car that hard as I commute stop start traffic in London. Japfest1 to do list - CF bonnet on with aerocatches - Tinted Windows (hopefully done by then) - Ghetto refurb stock wheels - Eibach camber bolts and FRSU Will strikeout as each is done
  19. Maz Bhai, don't give up when you're this close! When we did @Roj LCA bolts one of them took 3hrs but we tried heat it up and knock it out and it worked, luckily he had a spare LCA bolt, don't give up bro! The price is a good price but if you have a cheaper way to go about it and it'll work then go for it! I wanna see this on coilovers at japfest 1
  20. I bought one without AC in the first place so didn't really have a say in the matter
  21. That sounds like it'd be a really good setup, even without the components! And true if you have components laying around having fit new speakers in the EP3 before you shouldn't find it tough swapping them out! Ahh I love the fact I haven't got AC cause weight saving and less cluttered engine bay but.. damn it gets hot inside!
  22. Mi ah see dat yuh do ah badbwoy job 'sta, yuh ah like di jeremy claaaaakson wid di' amma, seen. Okay no more rasta talk
