NIKH25
Nice one, it's a major improvement, how does she drive? Not too wobbly on the rear I hope. I think you might be best getting some springs for an MB.
jamestopdog
Dont all shoot me but how about cutting a coil off the rears? Dont know how many coils are on them, but should be cool. In my old mk2 escort days i used to cut them in half! Bloody rock hard but looked good

I think you might be best getting some springs for an MB. It drives absolutely fantastic! I noticed a difference as soon as I drove out the garage! The steering feels really sharp and a lot stiffer ( obviously ) It will be even better once I get the rear sorted out! Only thing I am not liking is feeling every bump but I will get use to it Dont all shoot me but how about cutting a coil off the rears? Dont know how many coils are on them, but should be cool. In my old mk2 escort days i used to cut them in half! Bloody rock hard but looked good Mmm.... I'm a bit dubious doing that But I will keep it in mind as I have a spare set of standard springs

I thought James was saying cut the standard MB rear springs. Either way, I don't feel comfortable doing this And I don't want to go much lower on the front because the front splitter already scrapes on the floor driving out of my place

Krzys
Ah right, good point. Really?? When I had my Cupra R the front used to kiss the road/pavement pulling on and off the drive, standard height too!
