  5. To be honest when I sat in the Astra, it actually was comfy and smooth but it didn't feel nowhere near 280hp... It was fast and pins you into the seat but I been in cars with less horsepower, but a lot more rapid. And yeah, they're so common! Sorry Mr.B, we'll stop talking about Ashtrays on your thread now...

  12. Yeah mate, i wanted to go for scooby wrx sti around 2005 plate but then scoobies are so common. I like the mb as its a wee sleeper and more of a hoot to drive in terms of revs, older car feel etc. Im going to keep mine n spend some dosh on her next year. The coilovers, wide arch kit / flared and rota drift v are a must i think. Going for looks again as the car is fast enough for me! Around £2000 should see the car a keeper.

  14. I can't believe the initial intentions of this thread but I'll leave it at that You have to be a permanent resident in the UK for at least 185 days before you can exchange an Irish licence for a UK driving licence. Also as already mentioned any motor convictions would need to be declared when obtaining insurance.

  18. Just do both sides, you can't go wrong then! Plus when it comes to suspension if you replace one, you'll end up doing the other shortly after anyway!

  25. After spending so much on the colt I thought I'd be able to resist! I live at home still and both my parents are into cars so parts around the house etc are normal! Dad has a 350bhp forester and a Subaru mv pickup that's currently having a 2.0twin turbo put in it (500bhp 700kg). Mum has a 320bhp hawk eye impreza and a Subaru svx! I have the colt and now the civic, and my sister has my old 1.1 colt! All jap all modded haha.
