  2. Thanks guys  Some info on Fender braces J's Racing inner fender brace provides chassis reinforcement between the joint of the car's front engine section and mid c**kpit section. Typically, the greatest strength of the car's chassis will be low, concentrated in the frame. As we move up the chassis, we find there is less reinforcement, especially at the fender area, where the forward section and mid section of the car are joined by a few spot welds. Consequently, under hard braking and cornering there is a great amount of flex and twist at the fender area. The J's Racing fender brace reduces this flexing and the sloppy steering response associated with it. Chassis rigidity is increased noticeably and turn in response is significantly crisper and faster.

  8. Nice! Yeah any new wheel you buy the place will send out appropriate rings if needed! That's why they ask what car they're for!

  10. properly gutted. that set off a bit of a dodgy car history - 1.6 J reg cavilier with the best reg ever (J460 CUM) which I found didn't have an air filter in when I went to change it... explains the clouds of black smoke that used to belch out of it! in the end it got scrapped because of the longest MOT fail list ever (they had to write on the back of the sheet). next up was a 1.4 pug 306 (though it did have a lush momo steering wheel) that I ran until the clutch went, then scrapped it (but didn't retrieve the wheel - DOH!). then I got a 1.8 Carina with 190k on the clock, which was mint for covering the 350 miles a week I was doing on the commute, and had a HUGE boot. Eventually the o2 sensor went which was going to cost £400 to sort (only paid £300 for the car). I went to look at a volvo at the garage to trade the Carina in, but saw the deck and then the VTI sign, and then googled it and here I am. test drive sold it all day

  11. it is indeed. I see F1 as an event i watch but they are not cars really, not in the sense that we all know cars and BTCC is the best car racing series of the lot IMO.

  19. After some thinking, we thought why not Flush the engine bay and do a wiretuck as the EG turned out awesome and we enjoyed doing it. I wanted to fit a type r head later this year, but got a absolute deal for a complete car so why not eh' drop the full engine in. couldn't really have been a better time. Engine out of Donor Car Cleaned the engine and started to spray it all to freshen things up (NAZ doing his thing) All done, looks a million times better Bought a Timing belt kit and thermostat from Honda All fitted and timed up Engine Harness originally IN Progress Loads more to come InshAllah

  21. Just noticed they do them in gold with the polished lip too! Bonus!!!! What a great site, easy to find what you want!

  22. Thanks for that Nick! Think I like the Japan racing ones the best, although both are very similar. But the JR's have the polished lip so they're winning for me! I'd probs get the centres sprayed either white, gun metal, gold or colour coded to the car. I'd imagine that the supplier will have the spigots in stock if needed. Getting all excited now!

  27. Went to see how my EU7 was doing last weekend. I miss how reliable and easy to drive it was, but I don't regret swapping it for the MB6 one bit. And now let me tell you about side repeaters. The set on the right I bought on eBay from a seller called xenons_uk. The advert said they would fit MB's, but when I received them they were EG fitment and thus were too small for the MB6. I messaged the seller and got a refund but they let me keep the repeaters, so no harm done. The set on the left I purchased from Gordon Flash Jackson on the Civic5 Facebook page. I don't know if he's on the forums. Anyway he was honest and told me one of the clips was broken, so he threw in the smoked set you see in the middle for free so I could take the missing clip off that set. So now I have this. I'm thinking of putting the smoked set on my MB3 but does anyone have any idea how I'm going to fit them with a missing clip? I've considered glue but then if a bulb goes I'm kinda screwed.

  34. That looks absolutely gorgeous, beautiful deep shine and love the contrasting black pieces. One question: Are you putting the headlight washers back on? If not, why didn't you fill the holes? It goes here bud, an EK but you get the idea.

  42. Lol 😂Here's how I find it easier to do Put window down 1) Pull seal out 2) Remove doorcard 3) Remove plastic waterproofing wrapper 4) Remove the quarter glass frame/bar Has a screw under the door seal at the top and one on the door skeleton 5) Lower window until you can see the two 10mm bolts holding glass on to rail, whilst holding the glass remove the 10mm bolts. 6) Pull the glass out 7) Now the quarter glass can be pulled out to. fit in reverse, DON'T over tighten the two 10mm bolts, just firm. spray wd40 or gt85 down the tracks and slide the rubber in last it will go. Been a while since I have done one, I think thats everything Hope that helps
