  1. It is very hard to tell them apart unless they are side by side, it was probably sold to him as an ATR one. If it's a good price, why not get it anyway?

  4. In all honesty mate, im not sure what i could do different! Primer went down well, sanded back so it was smooth as a babies bum.. Colour went on well, again slight brush over with some 1500 and was smooth as hell too .. It was the top coat. I think that maybe lacquer doesnt like being in a can .. I may bite the bullet at somepoint and get it done profesionally .. When i have skirts and decided whether im going lips too ..

  6. If it's any consolation Nick, my spoiler has done the same! Orange peel in the lacquer. Doesn't look too noticeable though mate!?

  9. Can't remember which grade bilt hamber think it may have been medium heavy, found it to drag a little bit. But smidge of car shampoo in a squirty bottle with warm water and it was mint. I use that for all clays rather than useing a properly lube/qd. You do have to keep the bilt hamber quite warm to keep it malleable, think that is the only drawback if using this one. The meguires clay kit is great for starting out though, nice and soft.

  10. Took the car on circuit a while ago, not long after the swap. As a type of test/shakedown, if anything is going to go wrong it likely to do it there. I was armed with my Brothers car which was filled with tools and spares! This is me driving, early on in the day, only the second session ran with the Go Pro. Dont judge the driving, that was the least important thing at this stage, I was glad to get around in one piece!

  15. Did some more stuff done today, ripped most of the sticker back deadening off as it was tacky as hell. Removed the centre console and the very tacky velvet but 1 side broke off coz it was made badly! From what ive seen you wouldn't think the guy was a welding teacher! so my mate will weld that up for me. Also painted the rear cross frame, going to re-carpet the parcel shelf as well and tidyed up some of the wiring. Not a bad day

  16. Well my lip spoiler is looking better this afternoon, I've offered it up and it looks much more like it, not the greatest finish but we'll see what the polish does. I couldn't really get much done yesterday because this was happening. So got on with some polishing today. So all nicely polished and waxed, she's flipping beautifully now. Lip spoiler drying in the background.

  20. The good thing with the Bilt Hamber one is you don't need a lube, just use water.
