  1. Yes ride height should be the same on front and rear. Look at the first photo. As for arbs your best bet is MG ZS 180 20mm rear arb and MB6 26mm front arb.

  2. oooooooo! "Hasegawa-san adds that a Civic Type R Tourer isn’t out of the question, with the same engine but a toned-down look. Yet that would depend on demand – especially from the UK, where the car will be built and where most of the latest hot Hondas are likely to be sold. 4. Tackle the small patch on the door yourself first. If you're happy with the result, continue with the rest of the car?

Just want it looking nice and sounding nice. Anyway. So far !! So it started off very standard - ">http:// ">http:// Changed the grill and fog lights - ">http:// Spoiler and front lip were next - ">http:// And some different ( current ) alloys - ">http://http://s1111.photobucket.com/user/jamie19941/media/NewImage2_zps34bacc35.jpg.html'> Coilovers are on order - Yet to do anything with the exhaust, but thats my next project. going to try and get the badge and fog light covers the same colour as the wheels ( cadburys purple? ) Possibly tint the windows, Got some blue led's in the foot wells, and a 6" dvd player/cd player. 12. The IABS should work, however they may restrict you power wise and most of the the map they delete them when re-mapping. Find a decent mechanic with a bit of knowledge on the H22, try performance tek even if you can get some general info out of him over the phone. He has done a few H22 conversions into EG/EK/EM etc.

  13. Older car, parts are rare = more expensive imo

  14. B20 swap is pretty easy and simple to do. B20 bottom end (these can be bought as complete engines for as little as £100 !! Typical price is £3-400) Golden eagle B20 conversion kit (can make this yourself if you got the know how but its not much to buy, contains an oil line kit usually by fitting a sandwich plate to the oil filter, a couple of dowels to align the vtec head to the bottom) I think some people drill oil ways (been a while since I looked into it!) That's pretty much it bar a remap. Ready built engines do pop on ebay for around £600-£800.. basic b20 build is roughly 200 bhp/150 ft lbs of torque. With the short gearing of a S80, better intake manifold n tune. Will unleash some epic power. Or go for boost, you can do a nice set up for under 2K

  28. It was meant to be Was a rattle can of PB from paints4u. But it didn't turn out too well. Whether it was the paint or the lacquer I'm still not quite sure. But it's very dull compared. Looks ok though and will do for now until I get it into a body shop to get painted properly

  34. The Japfest2 update time! Once again thanks to you all at civic5 for allowing me and my friends to be on your stand, was a lovely stand with friendly people and some really nice civics! The championship white one is one of my favourite MB6's and I'd never got to truly appreciate pirates black in person till JF2! Weekend diary time! Friday I left for Leicester at 2pm hoping to get to Leicester at around 5pm, I was wrong. It took me 2hrs alone to get out of London and there were queues on the M1 with 40 limits. I got to Leicester at 6.15pm, a full 4 and a bit hours since I set off, absolute nightmare. OH and my exhaust is LOUD on the motorway, almost unbearable but I managed Friday night just chilled really, too tired to do any prep on the cars but then Saturday morning the EP3 got its first proper wash in probably its entire 12 year/106k mile life. Snow foamm! Getting rinsed, looking better already! Post detail with @Roj MB6. Cleanest the cars ever looked considering how disappointing it was prior to this. At the pumps the morning of Japfest waiting for everyone else to fuel up, the three nighthawk black cars in a line Arriving on stand with @Roj and mates, pic nicked from Roj, hopefully he doesn't mind haha On stand in our final positions, if anyone's wondering why my car disappeared halfway through the show, I was actually a support car for my mates in the Donington pitlane as they were on track for 4hrs! In the pitlane area waiting for the 1pm-5pm sessions to start Parked side by side in the pit garage with a modified GT-R! And a pic at the end with me and all my mates cars: All in all a brilliant weekend and the car was fairly economical, pulled well and finally looks decent, just time for my build to bring it to the power level I'm aiming to achieve... Thank you again to civic5 for allowing me to be on stand! More updates to come shortly

  35. Well it was nice yesterday but I couldn't be bothered doing anything but its even nicer today so got outside, washed and waxed the car and took some pictures! Here's how our drive looks like at the moment, sold the green aerodeck to some guy who wanted the engine for his mb2 and it needed hundreds of ££ spent for MOT and when we were down south seeing relatives near Guildford we got a Honda logo for my brother as he is learning to drive! its 1.3 and supersonic blue and pretty rare, I always think they look like a squashed ek at the front and a starlet at the back. and this last pic is to show where they pushed the roof out if you can see it and im loving my new windscreen because the last one was covered in chips and generally needed replaced anyway.

  41. Same here, a bit expensive but definitely worth it in the long run. Get it first mapped by a pro and then maybe play around a little bit to figure out how it works? Then you could always set it back to the "proper" settings in case it gets too messed up!

  43. Thanks for all the comments, sorry to hear about your father in law, jimbob. And good luck jay with your applications, hope you get selected! Yeah i'm pretty excited about the job, i'm learning so much every day, but it also makes it pretty exhausting as well having to pay extra attention all the time so i'll remember stuff the next time as well. On the personal side the lift is making my life so much easier now... no more time aching backs, from arch rolling for example: I had a friend give a helping hand, gave constant heat with a hot air gun and managed to roll both rear arches nicely without any paint chipping. Didn't have to do the fronts since i've got a camber kit installed. But now i can get the rear as low as i want without banging the 8.5" wide rear rims on metal. Afterwards slammed the front as low as it went and matched the rear height so this is as low as it'll go on H&R coils: I think it looks pretty good, and it's still very driveable. No rub at all and no banging the bottom as long as i remember (and bother) to stay careful when going over curbs or speed bumps. Still, i'm planning on a MeisterR coil set for next summer, just to get the damping adjustability. I borrowed the roller from a friend, but after i told and showed my colleagues at work what i did after hours they said that's pretty cool, we need to buy one for the workshop! So the kids win as well . So far most of them who have gone low have done just the classic paint chippin' baseball bat arch rolls so i think this'll make their life easier! One more photo, sorry about the bad quality but it was almost 10 in the evening and just had my phone with me:
