  2. Get yourself there next year for deffo mate, amazing show and a great atmosphere. Good crack on the civic5 stand too, even got our own resident tea boy lmao @philgor Decided as it was nice and sunny today/tonight, I'd waken DD up from her wee sleep in the garage and bring her on a wee run to work. Can't believe the looks she gets from other drivers as they go past! Guy I was letting away at work, whos not into cars, but buys and sells em to make money, was drooling over her! Lost count of how many times he said "wow, I love that!" She gets a great reception everywhere we go! And so nice to drive compared to the TypeR (sorry Roxy!) nice and smooth and so relaxed, I left home early so I could just have a nice Cruise to work! Love DD to bits, and love just looking at her parked outside the office window.

  7. hi everybody! i introduce one of my 2 mb1 my black so it's civic MB1 sr vtec, 1997. d16y2, 126hp i bought her on 2012, she had 229000 km (143000 miles i think ) we bought her, because we needed a daily ! why a second mb1...for me it's the best car... we get space with her 5doors, we can drive on the city or on motorway, and her price was attractive for a mb1 ! (800€ ). actually she has 250000 km coming soon ! she is all stock but when we bought her, she wasn't in good condition without MOT, her last owner didn't take care of the car what we do one this car : -new OEM clutch -fluid reneval -4 tires - front brakes -heater control - power window - air filter -fuel filter - air conditionning -rear light (from civic phase 2 ) ...maybe i forget something XD we take care of her, she feels better than when we get it! she is ready for new 200000 km all my pics are on flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/maecivic/sets/72157629956275804/

  14. So started to buy boost parts for the DD aerodeck and hoping for a double check and input. Have read alot of forums FAq's. Pretty much a budget build and not after a specific HP Treadstone cast manifold, so I can keep AC,PS Chinese t3 3076 .82 ar (justification- cheap, getting better reviews than back in the day, can be replaced with garret internals should they fail, supplier in UK offers warranty, mate has one that takes abuse.) external wastegate bov ic and 2.5'' piping joiners couplings 3'' dp turbo back 750cc injectors fuel pump walboro255 oil lines water lines wideband afr gauge, other gauges boost oil pressure and temp Alloy half rad Plugs NGK bkr7e gapped .3 Hondata s300 to keep it in check Copetition clutch stage 4 Catch can? quite alot have hench brethers out the rocker, is this needed can find alot of info about this? total bill is pretty much bang on 2k Cheers all Dean

  17. oh yeah ive decided against buying just an engine and going to buy a full donor, mainly for three reasons, 1. i can see it running, see if its healthy, mileage etc. 2. incase i miss anything later and i get stuck looking for some s**te clip/bracket/wire/bolt lol 3. cheapest way and potential to make some money back with weighing it in/selling parts etc

  23. Ok? With being rude but ive 2 questions for ya then firstly how qualified is your m8 (eg.is he a mechanic or seasoned builder) or is he just another honda enthusiast like the rest of us. And secondly if the engine pulled strongly then how come hes rebuilding it did it break or did he want to tune it . Please dont be offended by these questions but they only help ascertain if the engine will be good for pauls build tiz all
