  1. Just an idea I've had after seeing this on a few other forums I'm on, maybe a 1/4 mile thread for those who have ran their cars? We could break it into categories such as Civic MA/MB/MC's, Other Hondas, Other Cars etc. Format (using my BMW 325i as an example as I haven't run my EP3 on strip yet): Name: Shafzzz Car: 2005 BMW 325i SE 6MT Performance Mods: CDV Delete Which Drag Strip: Santa Pod Times: 60ft - 2.18 1/4 Mile and Trap Speed - 15.46 @ 90.69mph *Proof of Slip Here if Possible* We could use this compile almost a leaderboard of 1/4 mile times, just to see what people are running with what modifications etc. Blank Format: Name: Car: Performance Mods: Which Drag Strip: Times: 60ft - 1/4 Mile and Trap Speed - Civic MA/MB/MC: 1. Dean/3gdean - Honda Civic 1.8 VTi Aerodeck - Shakespear Raceway - 2.45 60ft - 1/4 mile: 15.36 @ 93mph 2. Roj - 2000 Honda Civic 1.8 VTi - Santa Pod - 2.39 60ft - 1/4 mile: 15.68 @ 89mph 3. Dougie - Honda Civic 1.8 VTi - Crail Raceway - 2.67 60ft - 1/4 mile: 16.19 @ 88mph 4. Emil/EmZvr - Honda Civic MB3 D15Z8 Vtec-e - Kondofrey@Bulgaria - 2.73 60ft - 17.47 @ 76mph Other Hondas: 1. Darren/dogg1210 - Honda Civic Coupe H22A7 - Crail Raceway - 2.36 60ft - 14.77 @ 97mph Other Cars: 1. Shafzzz - 2005 BMW 325i SE - Santa Pod - 2.18 60ft - 1/4 mile: 15.46 @ 91mph

  11. Had a great time at Jap Finale, slightly dampened by my caliper falling off because the garage I used to replace my CV joints didnt do the bolts up properly! But thanks to Phil, Ben and Steve I got home safely without any more issues. Only took a couple of pics of mine next to Steven's MB Matt

  13. I really like his EU, it's only a 1.4 S but it does what he wants and it's a Honda. Brilliant first car for him and the EP3 should be a brilliant 16th car for me

  14. Haha using the EU civic makes you KNOW that the EP3 is the right choice

  17. Ok so i bought one, installed it (99% perfect fit) and it can totally handle consistent high rev track day punishment, the temp needle never went over the half way point even after 5-6 laps of really hard driving. Don't know how it rates against a standard rad since mine was broken (or clogged up who knows!) so don't know if it's really an upgrade performancewise, but atleast it looks nice and shiny in the bay!

  18. Well i'm not sure if i'd do that to my car, but awesome idea well executed! I think that's a first here.

  21. Yeah some looked like you missed by miles but I figured the camera was in the middle! Getaway in Stockholm style!

  22. Thanks. It was mounted down low in the middle of the front bumper so the wideangle makes it look like i'm farther from the edge of the track than in reality but you're right, there definitely room for improvement!

  23. Yeah I drove the EP3 and FN2 back to back, my colleague before he bought his FN2 brand new in 2007 had two EP3s and every time he drives mine he asks to buy it off me haha! The FN2 is the better daily driver I admit, but the pedal response is a bit iffy compared to the EP3, both good cars though

  26. It didn't burn then... Deffo get a V8 if you can afford to fuel it! I love taking my old dears out for a spin, sooooo much torque! Makes the civic feel ridiculously gutless... And its great being able to sit at 80 on the motorway at 2000 RPM How practical do you need to be and what's your budget? I'd love one of these Totally impractical but cool as f**k

  27. Pearl looks sick bro! Good call on the rainsport 3's I have them on my EP3 and they're a brilliant tyre!

  29. Yeah, it's going to be pretty low! Can't wait too, but I'm afraid it will have to wait next week! Thanks for the love! Pictures makes the car looks better, in real, it's full of scratches and dents! So, I did some work on the car. Front lip is fitted, and rear lip is in primer!

  30. lol as long as they don't start messing with peoples automobiles!! My new resistor arrived today. Easily fitted in 10mins thanks to the 'How to' on here. When I first started the heater again it started screeching, but quickly disappeared. Hopefully that's it sorted

  32. Right a little update.. Got my Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres 195/50/15 from camskill. Also got bored with my plain grey alloy colour.. I wanted pearlasent paint just how the pirates black changes colour in the sunshine.. I kept the same grey colour but when the sun shines on them they flip to purple Alloy looking normal grey Alloy pearl colour when light is shined on it

  34. Difficult dicisions mate .. Not sure you'd want to hear my advise ! But your gunna get it anyway ! FUCK this "sensible" crap .. You need something, as Ali has said, that you enjoy and can connect with .. A petrol head, like all of us, require, no DEMAND these things .. Without them, we'll chop and change becuase we dont care about the car ! Just beacuse you have a performance based car, doesnt mean you have to spank all your money on it

  35. Its a shame the new car is already on the way out. Sitting on the fence here, and I know we've all slagged you about it, but are you sure you've given it enough time? Even with the wee bit of bother you're having with it, at least its getting sorted for free. Hopefully then you'd not have to go anywhere near the Kia dealer again? If you are looking something else, what characteristics should it have? Use? Budget? Don't be impulse buying any more cars without running them past us first
