So about 15 minutes ago my parcel finally arrived. Yep, definitely for the right car. No EG or EK baloney here. At this point I should mention I had planned on ordering some H&R lowering springs, but I realised it had been almost a year since I got declined finance on Meisters... So I bought some Meister R stickers! Just kidding. I got accepted for finance. Time to give my MB6 what it's been begging for since last year.

I would probably get a cam belt direct from Honda but that's just me. A few on the Type R owners forum bought 'OEM quality' timing chains trying to be cheap like you and they stretched or snapped, new engines it turns out cost a lot more than properly looking after your car...

Had my aircon recharged last summer, and it did something, but never really blew properly cold. Total waste of time basically. But changed my pollen filter too not long back and it made a big difference to the amount of air blowing through, but I've not actually tried the aircon since then. Though I doubt there's much point in this weather, it's gonna be pretty cold whether it's working on not! Mini Discs?? You got Betamax in there too?

Cheers! I'll do the diagnostic test thingy tomorrow and see if we can rule anything out. Managed to change the Pirate Black drivers mirror and replace with a Baikal Green one. Also managed to swap over the last remaining door card, means all I need to do now is change the carpet, I'll probably wait until it's warmer though. Gave the AeroShed a wash today first time since I got it and it actually scrubs up well - I think if I give it a good clay and detail the paint will come out very nice. Here's the only pic I managed to get before it got dark:

So while the gang were down, I set them to work sorting out my interior bits thanks to @Chandler @phill1975 & @krzys. It was fookin cold by the end of it. And I'm still missing half my finger tip Prize for seeing beyond the wheel Also changed back my nuts. Was not happy with the longevity of the 6two1 wheel nuts. Very very glad I hadn't paid for them. This is only 4 months on. Despite being super careful, they cracked the first time I out the socket on them. I have about a hundred standard chrome ones so picked 16 of the best and cleaned them up to put back on. Actually prefer them too I think.
