Should never have sold it. Waste of time. @Grant saw it advertised and I had to have it back. Guy hasn't touched it. Exactly as I sold it him. Well.... It needs some TLC.. Service. Immediately! Exhaust has a serious rattle. Horrendous. 4th gear has a crunch at highish rpm. Struggles to start and hunts. Seems to be iacv f**ked. Hand brake pulls up about verticle. Clutch bites somewhere near my armpit. Has an odd naff tyre. What the heck toyos are like 35 quid.. No excuse. Like a weird lil dink in the drivers door jamb that has started to rust so that need attention from body shop asap. Electric windows don't work Electric mirrors don't work Soooo fair few bits to keep me busy hey. Get it back to its former self. Amazing what can happen in 7 months.

You want short 1-4 ratios for good acceleration and to be able to drive in the city in 4th gear and long 5th gear for highway. Best: Hybrid transmission with 3th and 4th gear from D16A8/D16Z5, 0.702 5th and 4.437 final drive Second best: D13B2 facelift gearbox Third best: D16Z6 / D16Y8 / D15B2 Every stock D-series transmission is a compromise.

Next up..VTIS Side skirts Both sprayed..Got a nice finish on them..so pleased Ooooo Purple Decided to Underseal under the side skirts First time I have done this so I am not sure if I have done it properly but I did two to three layers and covered as much as I could on the side and underneath..All the area covered by the side skirts basically...A few pictures to show how I did All fitted back..Some low life thieving scum decided to steal my blue dice valve caps so not happy about that but I have got 99p gunmetal grey ones for now

Thanks mate.. I bought one set first..Did my front VTIS lip, Front grill with H and Rear number plate chrome strip.. I have got two more now.. Done VTIS side skirts and number plate surrounds so far and I think there is a little less half the can still left

Yep keeping deck as well. Love it. Eg is off the road. So gonna address the issues and have it back on road in the summer I hope. Also gonna talk to a local guy later. Never met him but heard of him few times. His name is gearbox John. See what he says about renewing bearings and synchos.

Cheers guys! I do still have it up for swaps on gumtree ATM. Fancy something rwd to do a bit of drifting in. Still in two minds as I do love the deck, so ain't letting it go for buttons or the wrong car.
