Well @Roj didn't make it to japfest did he? Ah, thanks man it's alright for the mileage I suppose, could be cleaner though I had a few mods I couldn't get done in time for Japfest The headunit/centre console is very easy to pull apart, the trim around the gearstick is literally you pull it off with your fingers tucked (oo, er) inside the gear gaitor and pull towards you. The bit above with the heater controls etc you have to remove the heater control knobs (twist and pull towards you) then same as the gear gaitor bit, just pull it out towards you. The radio/headunit is screwed to the inside of the dash via a cage though which means no one can nick it, the stock headunit is the same! Hope that helps!2 points

@Matt_N lol loving the hotwheels on the dash and rear shelf! Ive got a scale metal model of roxy on her dash! Now without sounding old, back in my younger days of car modding, my first mk3 cortina (a 2000E no less, one of my fav cars of all time!) I had a few larger scale metal model cars on the parcel shelf, and had their taillights fitted with wee led's that lit up with my brake lights!!!! lol sounds mad now but looked pretty cool back then! Been looking to try something similar with my typeR model, but being 1.43 scale its a bit harder to get lights in there. Although I have a slightly bigger one thats remote controlled and has working lights............hmmmmmm ideas are churning! Still looking to try and produce a scale model aerodeck!2 points

So first I will put all the updates I did before Japfest and kept secret.. Very first one of course was the Direnza Coilovers, Gold Skunk2 LCA and Purple Beaks bar fitted.. Finished adjusting the rears by 7.30 pm on Friday..Got it to sit at almost two finger gap all around but the back settled lower as I got to Japfest.. It was less than half the finger gap at back but I loved it as it looked nice Also got mid spoiler fitted.. Didn't turn out too bad but it could have been better as I got a couple of lacquer runs at the ends As my Blue dice were stolen I got some Purple dice with goldmist but kept them till japfest and they are off now till the next show I ordered some custom stickers to give the deck a unique look Someone had this one on their vtis on facebook and I had to get myself one as I loved it too much1 point

Getting behind the headunit will be the easy part, it's just a large piece to handle once it's free.1 point

Lol yeah I meant to catch you actually... Wanted to ask about the head unit/centre consol assembly/fitment?? Easy to pull apart or a pain?? The Ep3 is very smart mate... Was lucky enough to be parked between two excellent examples!!1 point

DD is a credit to you Dave The last cars I modified were current Cortina 1600E's and a Dolly Sprint (I'm in my mid 50's) but I do love spotting very well maintained older cars especially if their not over modified. Good luck to you and DD :)1 point

Just as I hit enter, @ammarbm posted some more pics on facebook, including some of my dash and parcelshelf! So here's a few more Matt1 point

Love this pic @ammarbm took of the Civic, cheers dude! @Dave, after seeing the picture above, I'm now going to get the chassis rails welded up and lower her some more. Probably going to treat her to some new shoes and get the bodywork sorted too. Oh, and some more hotwheels cars! That said, I didnt get any pics of my dash and parcelshelf, did anyone else happen to get any? Matt1 point

This looked so so nice at Japfest bro! The DIY paint looked spot on and the ride height and the wheels and all the mods compliment it so well, definitely one of my favourite colour combos and cars on stand as I know the effort gone into it! Nice having a little talk with you too1 point

S4c is a good cheap upgrade For sure. find it very peculiar in the deck 2nd gear just keeps going and going and going.1 point

Really sweet mb6 mate, like it a lot! I was in a vtis once that had the ek9 gearbox and the acceleration was immense, like you say, no dropping out of VTEC.1 point
-
Excellent sporty looking motor I too think fitting a rear anti roll bar is the way to go1 point
-
Not really gonna help you. Fancy Rear lca are bling. Mb6 already has a lower tie bar standard also. I'd suggest standard one is more robust that the flimsy brackets that come with beaks bar.. Have you considered fitting a mg zs rear anti roll bar?? Many consider it a must on mb6. Greatly improving the handling.1 point

wow i got a big list, but mine seems a little more doable than yours ahah1 point
