LOL does nobody read the build threads or just look at the pretty pictures.. As Sir Slimmer 2014 Esq said i used different brackets, they are actually brackets to assemble kitchen drawer units LOL1 point

sorry for delay answering, she got home just as i was going to work so i took the vti and checked for you.. Ours appear to be original as was the entire car when we got her. Both the fronts and the backs feel quite rubbery and flexible, both exactly the same material1 point

Finally today arrived, the front & rear mud flaps Now I have many things to do with the car and no time Written in the task list the vti front lip. Ready to paint it in matt black. Also I want to repair the front "tow anchor" (I don't know the english word for this thing, see the picture). The last owner managed to damange this part with every kerbstone (yeah I recognize once I touch it too). So I'm thinking in remove the rust, polish and pain it with duplicolor "bed armor". It seems a radical solution but sure it doesn't tear and oxidize again https://www.duplicolor.com/products/bedArmorAerosol/ Finally two hot pics of this weekend. Nothing special, only the skunk2 tank covers fitted and sunny picture of the tow hook1 point

So another update for you lovely people. Spent most of the weekend a while back cleaning the car and can you believe it, Installing my new Headlights So they are so much nice than my old set . out with the old in with the new. decided to take the front end of and rewire everything and make the fogs more flush aswell and to test out my new lights which work a treat. EVIL once all installed I started my long cleaning job as A good clean was defiantly needed. the last job of the day was to fit my stuke winglets which i need to remove the stuke sticker and make my own but apart from that they dont look to bad. and to finish a nice handful of photos of the car all happy minus the grill in some pics, as its having a small refurb.1 point

Bagged myself a VTiS gear knob on eBay! It's not in the best condition but then if I waited for a mint one I'd probably be old enough to trade the MB6 in for a Rover 45 already. So, here's the knob. I prefer this style to the other one, just looks more normal to me. Stock MB6 knob. This will be going in the MB3 to replace the crappy £5 eBay one it came with. Comparison. VTiS knob installed! It seems to sit a bit lower than the old knob too.1 point
