  8. Turned out it was none of the above, turned out to be a seized caliper on the off side. Good news is that I've sorted it for the time being, as well as having a new set of pads in today. Went for a drive round the country back roads for about a hour and no sign of the squeeking noise. But decided I'm going to get new/referb calipers soon as well as new disc's while i'm planning the timing belt. All fit and reday, can't wait to bring her to the meet in Dalkeith now!

  16. I can frighten anyone that sits too close to me! Having consulted the how to on here I'm pretty sure it's just one wire I need to undo, then I can run it across to the other side! Hoping to end up with top two only as fogs

  17. For my 21st I went on a rally driving experience day! Mk2 RS2000 escorts and a 95 WRX all set up for rally driving! It was epic! Did a stunt driving experience for my birthday last year and I've just seen one where you can drive an F1 car but that's £1600 each! I want to drive a tank next!

  20. Not had a chance to try the washers yet. Today I got new rubber on the front and figured out my rubbing brake problems. I cleaned off some rust and brake dust build up, which allowed the pad to sit better and move freer. The mg zs console/arm rest were £45 posted which seemed reasonable. Still waiting for the grey trim pieces to show up next week. I splurged on a new head unit today, so will get that fitted tomorrow. I'll get some pics tomorrow

  21. Nice work going on your mb2 mate. . Once you start spending there is no end to it lol .. put more pics up mate as we love pics on here. . How much you got the mg zs interior for and did those citreon jets fit properly? I was looking at jazz mist washers but they are so expensive and these ones are much cheaper.

  23. Nick can type faster than I can so my answers behind
    1 point
  24. That's true but its not as simple as bigger more flow its how it flows and how fast it flows if you to big you slow the flow on a small engine ( unless its turbo then that's a diff ball game ) Well if you need to replace the rust part like nick says best going for a cat back system

  25. 7j means 7" wide, 17 is 17" diameter, et40 is the offset (distance the face of the wheel sits from the hub iirc) standard offset is et55 so et40 will sit 15mm further out. You might need spigot rings because our cars are hubcentric which means the wheel needs to locate on the centre of the hub otherwise it won't track properly.

  28. Yer all this said I was not worrying about the fuel coz she was built not for every day use just weekend fun lol , really what I wanted to build was a GT type of mental honda so you could do long trips if I want but also be like a mental type R like they used to be dc2 a sort of all rounder . So she goes mmmmmmmmmm grandad drive and a then hit the pedal and all hell breaks loose and NO TURBO going on under the bonnet. Do not get me wrong I love boost ,turbo or super charged but you just got to love N/A tooooooooooooooooooooo so sometime after 5000rpm you go holy shxx

  31. Took inspiration from ammarbm's MB2 for my Civic5 sticker placement. But for the other side I decided to use the "I Heart My MB" sticker instead. And a couple of photos because why not? The spare Civic5 sticker will be going on the MB3 by the way.

  34. Yeah I'm a bit excited actually. Don't know why it's not gonna break any records but I am enjoying doing bits on the car even if I haven't drove it really in about a month. Tonight I thought I'd jump on the band wagon as it seems to be mod of choice. Jdm style tail lights. The eg just had the outers lit as tail/brakes. One inner was blocked off and the other was a fog lamp. I now have the inners as tail lights too and the drivers inner still acts as fog lamp using dual filament bulb. Test fit wiring. Old vs new After drilling blocked light socket. Also painted strut brace and found A bracket to hold the super lengthy dc2 throttle cable

  37. "Return To Sender" I gave a letter to the postman, he put it his sack. Bright in early next morning, he brought my letter back. She wrote upon it: Return to sender, address unknown. No such number, no such zone. We had a quarrel, a lover's spat I write I'm sorry but my letter keeps coming back. So then I dropped it in the mailbox And sent it special D. Bright in early next morning it came right back to me. She wrote upon it: Return to sender, address unknown. No such number, no such zone. This time I'm gonna take it myself and put it right in her hand. And if it comes back the very next day then I'll understand the writing on it Return to sender, address unknown. No such person, no such zone.

  39. Try a strut brace for an MG ZS? I have my eye on a really tidy one by Dark Ice Designs, they're fairly pricey compared to cheaper ebay brands but look the part and apparently should fit! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZS-rear-STRUT-BRACE-Rover-400-45-420-180-UK-Made-Dark-Ice-Designs-/111209534966?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AMG+ZS&hash=item19e49ad5f6
