No sponge and Two buckets ay. Blimey I'm lucky my cars dont look ruined. thanks for the advice guys ill pick up a new wash mitt then and give it a go
-
What's the deal with sponges anyway? I've always used them. Dont mean to sound a nob. But I've not seen many mb6 out there that had a shine and perfect paint as my old one. That got washed with the same manky sponge for as long as I can remember

Haha, well up close it looks like its been rolled from 8 months of family duty and never been cleaned. So figured it can't get much worse. But I hear ya. least he's not learnt from my mum, she used a scouring pad to clean bird bobs off her Peugeot!
-
Oh yeah, and where's ya washer bottle now??
-
I'm looking to turbo my car when the tax runs out for the winter. Quite inspiring done and running in a couple of days.I was going to start buying bits and bobs, but now think I will just save and buy a used kit like yours and adjust to suit my requirments. good stuff tho man, bet it shifts a bit
-
Some good work man. You defo made it sound easy. So has it been tuned or has map just come off a different turbo b18??
-
Yeah I like it too. Bit I think it either needs to be quieter or look more aggrrsive. At the minute im not sure the looks match the sound or vice versa
-
That hesitation could be your ignition timings a bit off since you changed dizzy. I had exactly the same when I replaced mine. Slight adjustment and all was well
-
Ermm bout 15 miles maybe. Could probably arrange that. Will see what mates are doin before hand. Well its not a very exciting car really. Bit boring looking. That's what I wanted but think I may spice it up a little now.

Very nice is the skunk for sale?
-
Very nice mate. Looks beautiful. I can imagine pics don do it justice
-
Man there's some crappy parking here! debatable if this is really good or really bad parking, but I stood back, took a pic and said to myself 'oh riiiight'!
-
Well done mate. Shame about the tensioner mind
-
ooh exciting. you need to get cracking while theres at least a fifty percent chance of sun
-
had a bit of a minting session, washed, dried, waxed and blacked til both cars are mint! got the lil man doing the black one. hes done a lovely job. what a guy!! egs first ever wash since ive owned it. felt good to give it some tlc.

what a flippin cool car mate love it. flyeyes has transformed look already and personally think you should the tint on rear should stay. looks glossy. oh and least you havent found maggots in your car. i talk from experience with a certain eg project!
-
oh dear thats a stinker isnt it. sorry i cant offer too much advise. but i would like to think that you should be entitled to some sort of refund/replacement within a 12 month period from date of purchase. assuming you have proof of purchase and they were baught from a legit company. might be worth you looking up your local trading standards agency and giving them a ring in the morning. they will be able to tell you where you stand. hope you get it sorted!!!

Defo do water pump and tensioner. For what they cost just do them. Sounds like a common problem leaky water pump. Mine was leaking too when I did my cambelt

3 teeth is fair enough. Personally I rotate the crank all the way counter clockwise couple of times then tighten.
