    Not the same pattern, either silver or carbon, I'm assuming you have the black ash in yours so you'll probably want to swap it anyway. Check out one4all's thread, he's just changed to the silver in his and it looks nice.

    MG ashtray is a complete cover, so the lighter is inside. MB6 arb is around 4mm thinner than the 180's but as the deck doesn't have one to start with it's an upgrade.

    Sounds like you've found a cracker, little niggles are easy to sort really and the missing ashtray is a good excuse to upgrade to the mgzs one, much nicer. If you can't find an mg arb, give us a shout I have an MB6 one with brand new (oem) drop links, you can have it for a reasonable price.

    It sounds horrifically busy out there today. My sister left here at 13.30 to get back to Huntingdon, normally around 3 hours, still stuck at the dartford tunnel at half 5. Should take around an hour to get there.

    It might not go down too well if you lose her and she gets stuck for 3 hours on the north circular.

    Yeah, weather is shocking at the moment, can't get near mine to clean it, the only day in the last couple of weeks that was any good was xmas day and I got a bollocking for thinking about it. The Megs stuff is good and the ultimate wash and wax seems to last for ages too, good value and available at halfrauds.

    If you have a look at, I think, the previous page a few of us have put down our cleaning methods to give an idea of what we use and in what order we work our cleaning stages but basically a weekly wash goes like this: Wheels cleaned, rinse down, snow foam, rinse again, wash (2 buckets method), rinse again, dry and go over with a QD. As far as shampoo goes, I'm currently using Autoglym too, I like it but its not all that sudsy. I'm thinking of trying either Meguiars gold class or Dodo juice born to be mild next. I previously used Megs ultimate wash & wax which is nice and sudsy and has a great smell. I would clay the car first too before you go near it with the polish.
