  1. So next 'mod' external wise, on the to do list is to de chrome and de badge the rear - weather depending obv. The strips at the bottoms of the windows need painting as they've corroded. Bump strips, skirts and roof bars are all going to get satin black treatment too. Calipers need a repaint. Performance wise, I'll line up my 4-1 mani and decat. See what clearance will be like. And still undecided on the skunk 2 inlet. Also need to paint and fit the catch can. And while under the bonnet, I've made enquiries about having my spare rocker dipped. That's all I'm saying on that for now And of course a proper wheels off detail. So still a healthy chunk of things to do before May! Yeah it's not very, although, I bought a micro fibre MIT from halfrauds the other week and it's very very good. Let me know how the dodo stuff goes mate, I use their clay and wax and am pretty impressed with those products!
  2. So no 'progress' as such.. But was in desperate need of a clean. Grubby English roads! But here's a close up of the wheels and exhaust. Wheels need to come off soon for lacquer to get a real shine to them though. And I'm sure most of you will have an affiliation with a shampoo brand, however, if your not quite sure, I use auto glym and personally think it's amazing. I still haven't had the weather for a clay, polish and wax, the surface of the bonnet/roof is like sand paper, but the auto glym still brigs her up in a lovely shine. Thoughts and comments welcome
  3. Think rust is the biggest killer of these pal.
  4. Exactly this. For that doesn't work then look at the slave cylinder before clutch.
  5. Will see how it goes down with mine tonight then Or maybe if I keep looking at this thread it'll be done sooner!!
  6. Welcome along mate. What a great idea this is!!
  7. Ah shit. Rub down and another coat mate. All will be well.
  8. The fear of that though is the fuel consumption and long distance travelling lol. Need to retain a certain amount of drivability and normality
  9. I agree with Nick, not something if risk. Plus, no sure whether they'd give off enough smoke. I was thinking like this, between 4 or 5 of us....... http://bit.ly/175NsIo
  10. What, like literally? At this time if the morning!?!
  11. Today's the day! The Sun is shining, the tank is clean!! (Prize for whoever gets what films that's from)
  12. Bloody water leaks. I reckon we should do a group buly for a smoke machine, then send it to where is needed!!
  13. Gutted mate. Will it be gaurenteed to come tomorrow?? I'm excited as hell to find out what you've ordered!
  14. Does look like a small box mate. Which is why it'll be loud. The standard/tech back boxes are huge compared!
  15. Poking great mate. Absolutely love the look of this M. Sounds like it'll be an interesting year ahead! Will be honest, you'll have to convince me on the arches!
