  1. I'd agree Tom. Surely because of the longer distance for the air to travel, it affects throttle response & power.
  2. Yeah so do I though so I'll leave him alone on that one lol
  3. Oh you need to change your title now bud!
  4. Yeah I doubt it would mate. Bet they do fill out a little better though. Although I think the M standard wheels fill better than the dc2's. Perhaps it's because they are slightly more meaty!
  5. Hope so for you too mate! Make sure they get a good dosing of WD40 well before!! Mine were done last week and yesterday and today during!
  6. Exactly. Can't be good to have it that low IMO
  7. Cheers chaps. Was thinking 16's Nick, but ive put loads of effort into the originals, so will stick with them at least for the time being!
  8. Think there is always a debate over short/long. Personally, I prefer short and get it as close into the wing with a cold air feed as possible. Don't like the thought of a long sitting so low, especially as it's just been decked.
  9. Great result mate! Happy for you!!
  10. And so. Here we are, completed. Just about. Taken for a test drive and I am amazed, for several reasons. Firstly, it counquered every speed bump that I regularly encounter. (Except the huge one at work, but they lock the office complex down on the weekends. Will find this one out tomorrow morning lol. Secondly I am amazed by the ride quality. I loved these coils on the EK. They were incredible on track. But I was quite worried about what they'd be like on the M. I've wound the sprigs rates back to no preload and got them on dial 6 of 16 on the damping and the ride is great! Yeah ok, you know you have coil overs on, but no where near what I though they'd be like. There were no issues, no seized bolts, all came off hassle free (minus one from the abs sensor on the LCA. So all in all, am chuffed. Front could probably go another 10mm, but don't want to risk it with the speed bumps. I'll let the pics do some taking now As always, opinions/comments please
  11. Just take it out n have a look mate!!!
  12. Well, my hands hurt. But here's a sneak peak. More photos to come and review to come.
  13. That's the way to do it mate
  14. So far so good. All the awkward front bolts have come undone reasonably easily
  15. Ah. Can't be that then. Perhaps look at engine mounts as said above.
  16. When was the last time it was serviced mate?
  17. Start the ball rolling this morning. Love these. If I didn't get the mc2 I'd have got one.
