  1. Looking proper clean or..... was.. I keep meaning to do this on my car but it's pointless down ere on the muddy Cornwall back lanes
  2. Looks fantastic! I couldn't picture what the painted manifold wrap would look like, but it looks awesome and different. Top job spraying the rocker too!
  3. Nice lude! Start a project thread on here when the modding BEGINS!! And I'm loving the seats...
  4. Welcome! Nice MB3 and you're doing the first thing right - De-Rover'ing! I remember seeing this car on Skitzma8 thread. As soon as I saw it, it reminds me when I first got my MB3. Looks identical haha Looking forward to seeing how you progress!
  5. Looks like your profile picture now? Headlights are terrible on our MB's... I got Osram nightbreakers in mine and they are fantastic! Not the best bulbs out there but better than most...
  6. I thought it was an ATR but wanted to be sure. Mmm... not sure if I like the ATR spoilers on MB's though. Much prefer ITR!
  7. ^^PM'd you Krzys! I have decided not to get another grill as I am not going to bother with the mesh mod. But I am really liking the idea of plast-dip (tops to James Topdog!) and I keep looking on the internet about the stuff. Seems more durable than paint and saves me re-spraying the grill every few months. If that doesn't work, then I will carbon wrap it even though I'm not keen on carbon wrap Oh yeah, can anyone tell me if this is a ITR or ATR spoiler? You will have to scroll down the page, it will be on a modified red MB which is broken for parts... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331066659836?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2648 Thanks!
  8. To be honest when I sat in the Astra, it actually was comfy and smooth but it didn't feel nowhere near 280hp... It was fast and pins you into the seat but I been in cars with less horsepower, but a lot more rapid. And yeah, they're so common! Sorry Mr.B, we'll stop talking about Ashtrays on your thread now...
  9. I was lucky to find a aftermarket backbox on a MGZS. Usually people take aftermarket stuff off cars before scrapping it. BUT! You never know...
  10. Maybe... I have already planned to get a center exhaust custom made but I don't know any exhaust places in Cornwall! It should bolt straight on though as most D-series parts are interchangeable
  11. EXCITING! I need to get my a$$ in gear and fit the D16 manifold on my MB3! Looking forward to the photos as usual...
  12. Any videos of that V6 ROAR?!
  13. I annoy the hell outta him when I call his Astra an Ashtray
  14. My brother has a tuned-up Astra VXR chipped to 280hp. Every time I show him a mod done on my MB3, he's not interested... I'm like "well, f**k you then... and your Astra"
  15. I have never sent anything which weigh a few but that is the best thing you can do, look into the scrappy! Wipers? I forgot the size they are but I will have a look tomorrow as I need to replace mine
  16. I picked up another rocker cover from scrappy for a tenner, it came off a D16. Always have a spare just incase, same to the headlights. If we were closer, you could have my spare rocker cover!
  17. Good thing it's only the AC pulley, could be a lot worse... You won't be needing the AC in the winter anyway haha
  18. Yay! Glad you're keeping the wee MB3! It will be good to see some progress. Black and green huh? Should call it "The Green Hornet"
  19. Yeah stupid sad f**kers! Couple pictures of the grill. The photos don't show how buckled the mesh is but you can see where the clips broke which holds the whole grill together... The original back on, I hate the chrome already! And the 'H' badge colour coded to fit a new grill if I get one!
  20. Bloody hell! That is bad... You would think someone would put a bit more love and care into a VTi-S... I really hope you get all the bits and pieces sorted out. Fingers crossed!
  21. Welcome! And wow... Everything on this car is such a perfect combo. The wheels matches the VTi-S lip kit and colour soo well! Top work, a very inspirational car! I wonder if Nick's thread is still on here when he had this car
  22. Atleast you can now get a fancier backbox now
