  1. I will post pic of my sensors positions soon.....
  2. Mikefoto got my vote as lots of detail/work has went in! also a thanks to whoever voted for me!
  3. Buy an new barrel then as it can only get worse!
  4. Agreed. It's the attention to detail i like. If mine looked like that then i would be happy!
  5. It was just myself and a few others off here that had some issues mate, your setup sounds spot on!
  6. Yes you would be able to use as a daily no problem. My mate runs a skunk 2 inlet on his Jordan and that hasn't been remapped or anything.
  7. For the best results mate, a re-map would be beneficial as you are then making the most of the new air flow by recalibrating the ecu. However, you need a mappable ecu to do this. I was advised to get skunk 2 mani and dc2 cams to get good gains. Maybe invest in cams as well and get a re-map all done at once?
  8. Aye mate, its perfect! It's on solid with no man made modifications!
  9. You may think a "gear knob is just a gear knob" but i have bought several over the years for different cars. The 'feel' has to be right when changing gear! I bought a Tegiwa gear knob for my vti-s but found it too sore on the palm when putting it into first gear! So bought an ebay special that is much comfier on the hand! Goes well with my red/black theme: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-5-Speed-Shift-Knob-Universal-Stick-Shifter-Manual-JDM-Aluminum-MT-Gear-/151120110300?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item232f75e2dc Coupled with steering wheel (nice n cheap) : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320mm-Calf-Leather-Steering-Wheel-Three-Spoke-Black-Red-Linings-Hand-Stitches-/261294537146?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cd65e39ba
  10. They travel down past manchester towards the ferry/tunnel as they finish up in Ibiza. My mate is following rally on twitter and internet to find out info. He says the cars will be there 9am-11am then classic cars at 1pm. All i want to do is hear them drive away with howling engines etc. Only reason im going is for the noise!
  11. Nice one mate! I'm going with the Mrs so will see about where we will be afterwards but should be ok! Cheers
  12. Front ride height was like a 4x4 and back looked standard mate. Lots of understeer as a result of higher front end. I agree but i have to share my experience, as it may happen to others.
  13. As above. Richard Rawlings from Gas Monkey / Fast n Loud will be there also! I'm going to have a gander with the Mrs. Taking the train through so we can have some drinks. She's my 'beer assistant'! (those who watch Fast n Loud will get it) Hopefully have some pics for you guys
  14. People on here raved and praised CW Dismantlers so i went with opinion. Just turned out that they had turned crap and punted any old setup. They were adament however that mgzs suspension had different springs etc and went with coloured spots on them. God knows what coloured spots were perfect for our cars. I personally would NOT recommend that setup as been there done that and learned to buy better.
  15. Should be a big difference if the parts are correct. I had mgzs shocks and springs but ride height was all fecked up and ended up trying different ones from CW Dismantlers on ebay. Not putting a dampener on your stuff mate, just making you aware that not all mgzs springs/shocks are the same as ones that have been fitted, without problems, on here....
  16. I was browsing through some posts last week and came across one that mentioned replacement of dizzy caps, so thought i'd better do mine. So ordered one from Eurocar parts and fitted a new dizzy cap and rotor arm yesterday morning. Feckin bottom dizzy cap bolt snapped didn't it But i fitted it after my shift so took off the whole distributer (marking the top bolt) and one of my mechanic mates drilled and re-tapped bolt for me! Thank feck i didn't do it at home as i dont have this equipment at home! There was slight corrosion on contact points in the old dizzy. Due to seal leaking at the bottom of cap. Car feels more responsive but that may just be mind tricks!
