Glad the car is still mint. Lovely example of a Deck. Well done Dave on keeping Dawns deck up-to-date with mods. Nice one- 919 replies

Exactly...your car and your project!

Happy to help mate! I know how car things can mount up and everything comes at once. But hang in there...its all worth it in the end.

Sorry guys, was away camping all weekend. After re-map, i have only one vtec crossover and that happens at 5000rpm. I had asked for vtec to come in earlier at around 4000rpm but the tuner said that it's better at 5000rpm as it suits the car setup. I went with their expert knowledge so said nothing. If in all honesty, i would prefer my vtec to come in at 4000rpm. Having to rev the proverbial t**sies off the car all the time is fun but frustrating when having to have power higher up rev range to overtake.

It is hard to modify when the some people don't see the point. And that is understandable. I modded my car in just weeks before my wedding but she understood that my car 'needed' new suspension as shockers were away and 'needed' seats as a safety item! My Mrs knows that cars are my life! She is not into moddifying either but eventually even her corsa has been modded, and that was off her own back! She spent £350 modifying hers with black alloys and vinyl mirrors/spoiler and grille. She agrees that it changes the car so is happy at spending that money! -

Care to elaborate for us non facebook types? -
Like your train of thought mate, buy a full car for interior and punt parts from it! It IS hassle selling parts etc but worth it in the end.

Very nice mate! Similar to Rotas as well. Where did you purchase them from? -

I like the style of Inovit te37's. Its sooo hard to choose as wheels make or break a car! -
Well x1 was free as they mucked it up! I want a happy medium of low but drivable without rubbing..so have quite an aggressive -2 camber on rear and -1.5 on front. This is for track days also as will be start again later this year. Must say, handles well on those settings! But as i have been mucking about with ride height after the recent meet, so i have to re-geo it again! I'm really fussy before you ask and everything has to be perfect in my eyes!
-
P.s just need my 5th suspension geo to make it perfect! **sighs loudly at cost of it all**
-
Really like ur car mate! Sits perfect! I have raised mine slightly on the rear and lowered the front. Felt the car wasnt as sharp as before coilovers fitted and put it down to front must be lower slightly, for grip ( as you said factory was 10mm lower on front)! handles way way better now!

Sorry for not replying, video editing took my attention away! I like the grids better also, i would really consider bronze as the colour has grown on me thanks to the fellow civic5'ers! Does anyone have any grid pics on the mb6 to hand they can post here so i can get an idea on the look?
