  1. its one of those jobs that I will probably end up f**king up and not have a working car (especially since its would be my first attempt) so going to get it priced to see how much it will cost.
  2. the joys of having 2 cars! that's quality work getting it in to that cubby hole! you stripping out the rear seats?
  3. took it back up this evening and he thinks it might be the crank seal and hasn't had the timing belt in about 80,000 miles so might just get both changed at the same time. Would love to try it myself but all comes back to only having one car. Anyone else done crank seal and timing belt, how hard/how long does it take?
  4. haha that would be cool! but its my only car and wouldn't know where to start.
  5. yep its round the crank pulley and it doesn't drip that much when the cars just sitting, but I can see under the car a lot of stuff is just coated in oil obviously when I drive it the oil gets thinner and leaks out quicker. Its down to about 1/4 full now. Will top it up a bit and I'm taking it back to the garage tomorrow evening so he can have a look.
  6. checked the sump bolts and all were tight, it looks like a tiny bit just didn't seal quite right when the new sump went on and its now starting to seep out. But the good news is I replaced my cracked manifold with a toyo sports one and exhaust is all nicely sealed again. Hoping to get the leak fixed asap as im going to a meet next weekend!
  7. do you not like it? the rear end could be better but everything else is awesome!
  8. that's a good shout actually since I did get it replaced a few months ago!
  9. yeah, I'll get the guy who fitted the sump to have a look over it to see what he can do.
  10. yeah I do try, only one of my friends has a car as low as yours and its on air ride luckly a decat isn't exactly expensive for our cars!
  11. yep I feared the worst and it has happened crack in my manifold and to add insult to injury a slight leak from the sump seal, lucky both aren't that major and can be sorted in time but still annoying none the less!
  12. what car's next then? and your own shop selling/doing what?
  13. the horrible fizzing sound of a blowing exhaust started earlier this week if its dry tomorrow im going to have a look underneath the car, im hoping it will just need re sealed with exhaust sealant somewhere.
  14. I think its when the company run out of stock they put the price up so no one buys it so it saves them the hassle of removing the listing waiting for the stock and then relisting it, but not too sure.
  15. brilliant! perfect amount of lows! the amount I would like to achieve. Wish I had friends that had as low cars as mine!
