  6. he says its a d14a4 but the z4 one is cheaper hopefully ill have it fixed within a week

  9. I went on to Honda parts for sale on fb and a few guys have some thank god! just wondering though if any d series one will fit as its from and engine with a different code d14a7 and mines a d14z4 or theres another one from a z4 engine would I be better going for that one?
  10. ive had a look but none, only gaskets etc and people breaking civics don't want to split the sump off the engine!
  11. yes, I've been searching everywhere at the moment, but nothing yet, its just annoying asking the parents for lifts!
  12. oh no, no driving for me for a while, sump is fully rotten :'( on the look out for a replacement sump now!
  13. just leave it where it is with the protection stuff on. the pipe wont move that far is pretty stiff
  14. cheers guys im so lucky that I noticed and didn't drive it dry and its already a magnetic one on there!
  15. I might just give that a go tomorrow as I think it may the sump plug even though its tightened up good (could be warped)
  16. exactly the same problem as me! think its the air con pipe. I also had to move it out of the way like that but I don't think there is a way of fastening the screw back unless you removed that padding, but the padding will prevent the metal pipe rubbing on the metal brace.
  17. ive actually got no clue, not from the sump plug I don't think, but the very bottom of the sump is soaking, im glad I noticed because I checked the oil and its not reading anything on the dipstick!
  18. at first I thought one of the coolant hose clips had crumbled and just leaked out the bottom pipe but nope its oil
