  1. It's swings and roundabouts, you can pay for prep (sandpaper, primer, paint and lacquer plus time) or you can pay a bit more for plastidip and save a shed load of time and peel off if it doesn't go well!
  2. Went up nearly a year ago dude! Ouch on the points but as you said, you knew you were in the wrong! Was it marked car or undercover? They're getting quite cunning though! Touch wood I've had a clean licence for the ten years I've been driving!
  3. Didn't know Tegiwa did them?
  4. Could be worth asking the question to John Banks? I plan to go all out on my door seals and weatherstrips! Anyone else needing them too?
  5. The holiday will most definitely be worth the £3000ish, the CCNA, we shall find out if it leads to a new job!
  6. I'd rather pay more and pay once for parts! I'd have nearly £2k extra for the M if I hadn't agreed to the above, worst part is I've got more to fork out for too! Car will certainly have to wait!
  7. If he didn't, you've just given him the idea to claim it was on purpose now
  8. I'll like it too if it goes to plan! Hopefully not blow another fuse
  9. If you can get hold of any! I reckon an importer like Torque GT may be able to help!
  10. Stalk has arrived! Will have a look at trying it on Saturday morning!
  11. Like the idea you have there! You should be able to do your wheels with plastidip! Though it's no harm done if it doesn't last!
  12. Because you have money burning a hole? If I wasn't going to America or doing my CCNA next month I'd have bought a sh1t load of stuff for mine recently!
  13. A mate of mine had a front and rear one, they saved his bumpers from curbs no end of times!
  14. I think with painting as long as you lacquer it after it should be as good as you could want! Wrapping probably depends on how well you do it too! Plastidip seems to be the easiest way but don't expect a smooth and shiney finish!
  15. I don't think anyone has ever tried it to be honest! I imagine you'd be able to get other door handles on though but you may have to custom fit them!
