  2. I was going to post a link to a carbon bonnet but it's mega £££, I don't think they'd go for it!
  3. epic! Good rant wasn't it I did laugh at that comment too! "Tree hugging" cars should be banned!

  5. Thought it felt loose That's tool station replacement p***s for you. The "Leroy" special!
  6. Cat C then! Hopefully it's not too bad underneath but I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least a grands worth of straightening out involved if you do repair it! I think the cost to repair vs the cost to replace wouldn't work out, but worth stripping down for parts for a K20 project!?
  7. Christ, I knew it was going to be big but Jebus! That's totally crap about the EG though dude! Couple of links below for the front cross member, inner panels and a bonnet if you need to exaggerate the costs/buy any! http://funkypower.com/catalogue.php?mak ... ANELS&man= http://funkypower.com/catalogue.php?mak ... oduct=4169
  8. Three-way tie still, come on people, get voting! Else we'll have to have a tie-breaker arm wrestling contest!
  9. Perfect example right there BHM, posting the definition of Spam on your own project thread, defiantely irrelevant to the topic
  10. It is the BEST thing to do, ever! Indeed it does... As we all say, small things can make a big difference Tom's wife said that until she had bigger
  11. We are awesome! So why didn't you put something else on or had the curiosity gotten to you?
  12. To be fair you make a good point Tom, I've looked into cycling to work on my QMC days (5 miles each way) but because it's main roads and I know how the people (who are largely idiots!) drive in Notts I'm nearly 100% sure I'd become road kill! Plus the roads just weren't designed to accomodate both cars and bikes! They worry me when filtering through traffic and half the time there's no signal at all when they decide to suddenly change direction. Luckily for them I'm one of the more observant and respectful drivers but sometimes they do take the p1ss! Call it what you want, it's a tax I have to pay to have a car on the road which you'd expect to then be spent on said roads, government shananigans and all that jazz!
  13. http://funkypower.com/catalogue.php?mak ... oduct=2778 Expensive so get saving!
  14. Yeah that would be ideal, even if it was on the stock gearbox! Though the only way I can think of getting around it is either do what Kenny_tmt has done and machine the standard inlet or find a way to keep them open all the time?
  15. Motorists barely give way to each other at roundabouts! The problem here is that UK driving a Dutch driving styles are very different! The Dutch are so much more relaxed, not to mention their cycle road network was purpose built so the people have always known to expect cyclists whereas here, roads are for cars and cyclists have only recently started to use it more so our attitude is vastly different! It could work here, but it'll never have the success the Dutch have with it, driving styles are just too different and as Phil said, the first HGV to get across that will probably take a few cyclists with it! My last point is cyclists here seem to think they are owed something given they don't contribute to the road network.....then again paying road tax doesn't seem to have the desired effect either but that's another rant!
  16. I just didn't relise so much interest i would get lol should of kept me month shut! You love it. Ruddy attention seekers
  17. vtec controler only lets you move the vtec point not iab's Good info! 1"£££$££"!! Maybe time for a new inlet then!?
  18. No mate, not a false alarm, check my thread, we are being victimised I tell ya. damn those two jokers God almighty, you pair of bunny boilers!
  19. That's not too bad then! Not much worse than 1st - 2nd on the standard setup! Could always get a VTEC controller if it can control the IABS?
  20. The list of jobs doesn't look too bad! But I hear you on the dwindling budget front!
