Yeah man! It'll be my second EK4 as well so I know what to expect, I keep seeing my old one knocking around, still gleaming! I will get one when I can! It'll either be a second car from the word go or I'll use it as a daily and then make it the second car in the future! My mate has an EF with a 1400 carb, it's nippy! Handles mint, it's on Meister R coilovers with the Sprint SW96 wheels on, will have to get a picture of it up but I think it's a cracking little motor!

Few bits going on with the Saabtanic, the misfire issue seems to have come down to a small vacum pipe making it's way off the throttlebody that I replaced, Japwrap seems to be keeping it in check for now! I've ordered a new oil breather valve as I broke it when replacing the throttlebody and I can hear it leaking so thought I'd best sort it before it becomes a problem! Next I replaced the front tyres as they were bold as 4uck! Managed to get a pair of Goodyear Eage F1 Asymetric 2's for just under £200 but it was discovered I have a buckled alloy! So onto eBay and found a breakers yard in Lancashire selling three of the type of alloy wheel I need, so looked at them and made a "best offer" on the one I thought looked in the best condition! Buy it now is £60 with free delivery, I've offered him £45 with the offer to collect also. Means I can see how the car behaves on a long run as the last two and only roadtrips so far the car hasn't been running right so be nice to see how it's doing! Gives an idea what to expect when I go to Le Mans! Will still be selling after the trip but the car needs to be right by then otherwise I'd be no better than the guy who traded it in given the stuff I'm having to replace!
