  1. Sounds like that guy had no idea at all! I bet she's as glad to be with you as you are to have her back! Does the DAB need it's own arial or does it pick up straight out of the box? Sounds like you have a bit of a project on the go, not only returning her to her former glory but beyond too! Nah, need to get a DAB ariel for it. The git in Halfrauds didnt tell me, but I had a feeling it would need one.
  2. Best I managed to a tank was 424ish miles! That was with an MB6

Same, my brother is a mechanic so I benefit from it too!
  4. Well I went to my brother's garage after work to fetch the Accord, he hadn't even done the MOT yet so I hung around and helped do it! Here she is during her MOT yesterday having her emissions tested! 45 minutes later we have this.... Happy days! She's now sat at home, waiting to be used! The next few weeks she'll sit pretty, then I go off to Le Mans and when I come back, the Saab will go up for sale and as soon as it's sold I'll insure and tax the Accord for daily use! Though my mate who's going to be in the car with me on the Le Mans trip keeps trying to get me to take the Accord on the Euro trip! Tempted as hell but would mean a lot of messing about and paying to change the vehicle on the ferry etc!
  5. Yeah dude, not worth lowering as she is, plus it was proper cheap at £30 for the spring!
  6. Light at the end of the tunnel now mate! Bet you're well excited!
  7. You're welcome dude! Have you just slapped them on as they are? Looks loads better, that's a really good place for photo's you've got there!
  8. The Accord got some TLC on Saturday! My brother offered to do the work at his garage after hours, happy days! So here's what was done..... The only picture I've got of the door since it's been done! New front spring being fitted! Here's the old spring, not bad for 25 years old! Accord being pampered the only way my brother knows how! It was having a CV boot replaced! And finally a picture of the A20a engine, just an oil and filter change, first one since 2009 when we aquired it! She's having her MOT done today, fingers crossed! But we couldn't find anything obvious that needed doing other than the CV boot, front spring and a set of wiper blades!
  9. Good progress! Looks a lot better now dude! Wheels set her off nicely, Meister's are surprisingly comfortable! Will make the car look better with heaps of adjustability! Don't forget to get a 4 wheel alignment done!
  10. I'd say match it to the skirts and rub strips myself as it's on that line of things!
  11. You'll need to update your sig again dude! I could try and hassle the guy who bought Becca off me, but bad memories surround her so not quite the reunion I'd want! Plus the guy has disappeared off Facebook
  12. I saw you hassling the guy on the Facebook page Glad you managed to get her back though! Now the Honda family is complete!
  13. I think Tom will need to arrange a group buy!
  14. Just remember to make sure they're 4x114 as well, you probably already knew but making sure
  15. Standard ET is 50, I ran Rota Spec R (98 Spec reps) without them, but they were ET45, I think you'd get away with 40's! Are you going to order them from Rota or are you buying second hand? I think if you get them from Rota they'd include a spacer if one is required! As they need the cars standard spec details anyway!
  16. I think you're thinking pink and brown marrow!
  17. Sounds good! You'll probably be waiting another 3 years for the EG to fail it's MOT
  18. Stick the photoshopped picture up! Should go well with the car though! Even if they are pink!
  19. I'm not overly clued up on the mapping side but generally you'll need the ECU, then get it chipped then mapped, P28 sounds about right to me but I'm not 100% sure, there's a few on here who've done it who can help!
  20. Awesome mods there mate! Door cards look so much better and that brace too!
