  1. if its reading nothing i guess hte leak is low down, maybe put a litre of cheap oil in (so as not to waste descent stuff) it might be sump plug still and with some fluid in you may see it leaking ???
  2. LOL i can not deny this one i guess... Yes that was pure spam..
  3. LOL but one good thing is we have Chandler with a new mod arriving in the post every day
  4. Booger!!!! at least you got somebody with the tools to do it instead not sure really with your theme black worked so well, i personally would not go white but im usually wrong LOL, maybe something with a blue flip in it
  5. If you have a brake light in the rear screen then you have def got the loom. My rear brake light is mounted at the bottom of window so i unplugged it and thats the plug for the spoiler, top mounted rear window brake lights will have the same plug but you will have to extend it to trace it to the inside of the boot lid. If you not got a rear screen brake light you prob have to wire it from the loom that goes to your rear cluster but it is just two wires so will not be hard to do...
  6. Thats the kiddie LOL.. Bummer well im sure it wont be done just yet with the nasty weather moving in on us every day so one may come up if you change your mind or fail with the wrap When i repaired my bumper i bought one that was scriffy but the moulding was hardly damaged, i did all the prep and priming myself then paid a pro to spray it...Check back in my build thread may give you some tips but dont just follow my way as it prob is not the best it just worked for me...
  7. LOL he is on it at work and then back when he gets home in the evening.. None of us mere mortals could hope to match Tom's post count with the dribble he comes out with
  8. have you asked 10000rpm yet if he has any, and i can not remember who it was that carbon wrapped the trim but sounds a plan you could fill the scratches smooth and wrap.
  9. WOW every day must be like christmas in the Chandler Household the ammount of mods happening recently
  10. bet your really looking forward to getting on the road mate and you will enjoy the experience even more in a M.. Look forward to seeing pics of your car is it the 1.4 MB2.. And nice plans for her too will look awsome if all comes to plan
  11. Glad you got it sorted mate, sorry could not help as i did not have the answer LOL
  12. The guys who did mine used a grinder with appropiate pads to remove damage and then flat the paint for spraying, you do not have to totally remove previous paint just sand down to a keyed surface with no flakes i would also break the bead on the tyres as well give you better access to the edge rim and you are better off doing this to spray them as well...
  13. Yes mate as you say once fitted in place with suspention nuts back on tight tighten the gold ones up and job should be a good'un
  14. tis' is a shame.. looking at it the only bit that will be a problem to repair is the black moulded strip as it is part of the bumper and not removable like most cars (was the reason i got a replacement bumper to do mine) but if you want to paint it then it will not be an issue..Looks like the wall scraped the headlight as well but that really looks minor so not as much of a rush if it does bother you (lol it would bother me but then im a bit
  15. i would of asked the best place to get them but i was going to be all stealth about it and not say untill they arrived but with delay from opie oils i had to blab LOL
  16. Hopefully i will see a update to your thread saying they are on soon mate
