  1. No adjustment needed! Straight fit. They came with instructions. Do a buy.
  2. I've always wanted bonnet gas struts on the MB6 since my E36 had them, so I bought a kit for the MG ZS from Dark Ice Designs. The Celica is still ticking, waiting for me to afford it again.
  3. There's still a lot of good Ms still about, I personally think it's because people prefer social media over forums now. A lot of other clubs are seeing less forum activity but their FB pages keep growing.
  4. Nice Celicas you've had there! And yeah mine eats oil, nothing much I can do about it besides use the cheapest oil I can reasonbly use! Even though it's still off the road, I felt like doing a little mod I've seen on Haggard Garage and Mighty Car Mods. Garden edging front lip! It's a bit of a ballache with the shape of the Celica's bumper and the front wings but I think I did well.
  5. Gave her a wash today. Also the fog lights are back to being just fly eyes after my 100w bulbs burnt the yellow tint film!
  6. Finally got this thing free of problems! Fixed the idling problem by cleaning the IACV and tightening the throttle cable a bit. And the oil leak has been fixed with a small amount of JB Weld over the pin hole that I found above the sump bolt. It should hold for longer than I plan on owning the car. Just a shame it's currently SORN until I find employment again. It was either this or the MB6!

    ARB quick question

The MG ZS rear ARB you want is 20mm. If the Rover 45 diesel one is also 20mm, you're good. Never heard of it being used on an MB though so you're in fresh waters there.
  8. I bought Zeta S brand new and they came with Zeta Pro on them like these ones. Don't worry about it.
  9. Gather round children and let me tell you a tale of Gumtree scumbags and lemons. So I found some TSW Venom wheels on Gumtree for £170 delivered. Advertised as 5x100, so damn skippy I bought that. The bloke arrived with the wheels, cash was exchanged and I put the wheels in the garden for when I had time to fit them. A week later I went to fit them to the car, won't fit. The PCD of the wheels are way larger than the car. I look on the back of the wheel, 5x114.3! I e-mailed the dude telling him to take them back, a week later I get no answer. Fine, I'll make lemonade out of these lemons. Do you know who puts 5x114.3 wheels on 5x100 cars? Subaru boys. How? Adapters. Boom. £78 spent on eBay later and I was ready. Got clearance? That's a 25mm spacer/adapter. Wheels were originally ET40, but now they're ET15 with the spacer. Perfect fitment! Mad arch gap now. Needs lows. Mint.
  10. They're bloody amazing! They grip like glue even in the wet! In the dry it's near impossible to lose traction! I think I've found a new favourite tyre to be honest! And now for some Japfest weekend pics: Snowfoam! Waxed! Pikachu got a clean too. Night photoshoot with my boys. Morning beading shot. Japfest! Was a good weekend in all!
  11. Thought you guys would like to see this.
  12. Maybe if GT-Four parts were cheaper. Here you go.
  13. £400 daily club! Looks tidy mate, like I said on Instagram, it looks huge next to the Deck!
  14. Too many electrical faults to the point where the gearbox was stuck in limp mode. I want to make it look something like this. Just nice and simple, low on some nice wheels.
  15. So my E36 ended up RIP so I needed a new daily. I didn't want to spend much and I knew another MB would make the most sense, so I spent £395 on a Toyota Celica with 183k miles on it! Saw it on Auto Trader, went to view it, liked it, bought it. At the services on the way home from buying her. One daily passing the torch to the other. I know it's a massive step backwards in terms of car, but having a simple little Toyota as a daily does mean I get to run it for pennies, which has already made a difference seeing as my MB6 is currently looking 10x better than it ever did! Taking some time to admire how much blank canvas I have. Parked next to the MB6 for the first time. I've moved back to my parents' house by the way, so I get a sick driveway again! Decided to make it in Juiced on the PS2. A week later I took it to Santa Pod! At this point I'd ripped the front plate off for that sexy USDM look up front. And yes, I did get a video. Best time was 16.9 @ 84mph, after the internet told me it wouldn't do better than 17.5! Then I bought a roll of Penguin Tape, oh yes. Also took the rear wiper off as it didn't work. Got some 8000K HID bulbs and yellow tint film for the fog lights. Yes, I'm that guy who puts HIDs in halogen headlights. I'm officially fed up of new cars that have glare-king headlights as standard. Password JDM plate bracket because the police kept looking at my lack of plate on the bumper. And also a moustache. I also have a double DIN headunit and a light up dildo gear knob in the car but I'll have to get some proper pictures of those. She does have some problems that need addressing. One being all four tyres being borderline legal but I want to put some new wheels on it before buying new tyres. Second problem is the standard Toyota oil leak, I fixed one and then another popped up so that'll have to be looked at. Third, it burns oil faster than any Honda can. And finally, it can't idle for s**t so something is wrong there too. But overall I love it! Oh and as of writing this, it has 188k on the clock. Only had it for 5 weeks so far! Current mod list: - Audio -- Pioneer MVH-AV280BT headunit - Interior -- Light up dildo gear knob -- Penguin Tape wrap - Exterior -- eBay/Sun Woif 55w 8000K HID headlight bulbs -- Yellow tint foglights -- PasswordJDM number plate bracket -- 12x6 number plates -- LED sidelights -- 5000K main beam bulbs -- Totes JDM decals -- Penguin Tape wrapped fuel filler flap -- Rear dewiper - Engine -- Toyosports induction kit - Chassis -- TSW Venom 16x7J ET40 Wheels -- 25mm spacers
  16. This car is now RIP. If anyone sees the wheels pop up for sale do let me know, I'd love them on my new car....
  17. It's been a while since I updated this thread, so here we go. First I did a little bit of engine bay dress up. i.e. I bought a VTEC solenoid cover. Then I bought some tyres. Oh wait they're 16 inch and I have 15 inch wheels... Or do I? Surprise! (Rust needs sorting ASAP) She's all clean for Japfest now! Also the fog lights have yellow film under the fly eyes now. Extra JDM points.
  18. None at all! Apparently the install went fantastic, no seized anything! Indeed! It's like night and day! They're not even fully bedded in and it's much better already. Once I've got miles on them I think they'll be perfect! Yep! I can see why you rate yours so highly!
  19. So this morning it snowed. She snow drifts nicely for anyone wondering. And then it cleared up an hour later, boo. Notice anything different? Oh. Ohhhh. You get the idea. The black coating hasn't totally rubbed off the disc yet, so don't worry about how it looks right now. I've not even bedded these in fully and they're 10x better than the s**t I had before!

    Mb6 jerking at 5500rpm

Weird how it only happens in 5th gear. Have you tried resetting the ECU? Maybe it will help given that you've replaced so many parts.
  21. Bay is looking good! Don't paint the wiper arms. Just do them flat black.
  22. Yeah I've got no one local to help me anyway. They're getting fitted on Wednesday now, I think I left booking too late but I blame Parcelforce for not bringing my stuff sooner!
  23. Nope, letting trained grease monkeys do it all. I want my brakes done properly first time, no more messing.
