  2. Hi all. Been having a look on the net and here but no luck. Below are some pics of rust under the chassis of my aerodeck. Looks like its where the inner wing panel joins the floor. There's the factory seam sealer which has started coming away as well. Quite a lot of flaking metal which to me doesn't seem good... I'm hoping it can be cut out and plated without top much hassle. I did wonder about cutting the same section out of a good body and having that welded in place... pics below are the drivers side, passenger is similar. Any suggestions? Strange thing is its not been noted on previous mot tests.
  3. Hello, I'm selling this MB6 VTI rear lip. Resprayed in Titan Silver (NH614M) and in good condition. Also willing to trade for a MB9 (aerodeck) VTI rear lip. price is debatable

  6. Has anyone here bought new aftermarket front fenders for their MB6? Or just got used ones from scrap yard etc. ? I was wondering if the aftermarket ones fits directly or if there are any seam gaps, if the headlight and bonnet fit to it properly etc. Things that can go wrong. Diederichs makes them but couldn't find those. I got myself Polcar ones. https://catalog.polcar.com/#!KatKatalogGlowny/fender-front-381102/492184 Should i try fitting them first before getting them painted at a shop? I was thinking of putting them on later in spring. But could get them painted already. Any bodypanel/exterior info would be welcome in this forum. Considering aftermarket parts especially.
  7. Vti-s/vti front lip

Hey everyone! So im new to this forum stuff and its my first civic so please be patient if i ask newbie questions lol So i have the 1.5 petrol and have got everything ive wanted except for the front lip. It seems impossible to find even a replica. Does anyone know were i can get hold of a vtis lip to fit my mb2? Ideally one that includes delivery? Ive seen some mb6 breakers on gumtree but its collection only and these guys are over 200 miles away from me - not worth it! Seen another on gumtree but its £120 just for a front lip which i think is way too much. Any help where i can get one? Thanks!

    Mud Guards

Hi, desperately looking for a full set of mud guards for the MB's, preferably new or in good condition. If not then I would take the rears only, maybe somebody has taken them off to fit a VTIS lip? Arranged to buy some from somebody on eBay but once again an eBay seller is letting me down. Have the front ones fitted so feel kind of stupid without rear ones also. But the front ones are quite worn so wouldn't mind replacements. Thanks!

    New my mb6 vti

Hi new to the forum, picked up this mb6 totally standard apart from coilover a month ago and since then I've added an omp wheel and quick release, new carpets, added an aem induction kit, aluminium rad and red coolant hoses, decat, custom spark plug cover, bonnet raisers and few wee tidy up bits, I've owned a few hondas before this, had am ej6 civic coupe with a b18c4 conversion and also owned an accord type r, but its quite a clean mb6 so don't want to do to much to it or anything done it can be put back, but interested in probably one of the most asked questions of making the custom projector headlights? And looking a nice set of alloys, recommendations? Thanks

    Vti-s lip kit

  16. Hi, im currently restoring a 99 VTi-S aerodeck and in looking for a few bits to get her all sorted. Currently what I need most is a set of OEM fog lights and brackets in good condition, a set of Aerodeck gas struts for the boot lid, a set of sun visors and a rear view mirror. Also not 100% necessary but would be nice is a set of good condition headlight, as mine has a small amount of haze and one snapped off mounting lug, mint hazard light and rear heated screen buttons and the trim from under the dash with the pull down tray in mint condition. Thanks for looking

    bits and bobs (exterior)

Hi guys. So I'm looking to tidy up the old girl. Previous owners somewhere along the lines must have hit every corner on her. Looking mainly for front and rear bumpers. Don't think the vti front with lip would fit too well with the amount she's currently lowered but a helping hand would be great. Thanks Nathan

    Car bra for mb!

As titled, not that I like them nor like the look of them but do they make them for mbs? As I have just had my car resprayed and have got a few long trips coming up this year and don't fancy a stone chipped bonnet agen lol
  20. Hey guys Looking for one of those final touches for my mb... which most definitely is the VTIS lip kit (don't fancy the VTI lip :P) Also, my passenger side wing mirror has a broken hinge so now and again flaps a bit in strong winds/legalspeedsofficer. I believe there are painted pirates black versions? If so, I'd like a pair. If not, just the passenger side. They're currently just matt black. And I'm pretty sure they're the heated type. It's an MB3 if that makes any difference. I live in Watford. Happy to come and collect if nearby or pay for postage obviously.

    +25 ET on MB6?

Will they stuck out from fenders/arches? They are already rolled and pulled by previous owner. I don't wan't any camber adjustments. Bad for tires, wallet and winter conditions. Previous owner had Japan Racing JR3 wheels with et 20-22 in the back (17x9). Sure they stuck out lil bit but it was okay with stretched tires. I'm looking at these: http://www.nlmotoring.com/Avid-1-AV-12-Wheels-16x8-Gold-p/av121680ma25gd.htm 16x8 Offset [+25mm] (I would pick 15's but can't find those locally with 114 and et25 fitment). I wonder if such "deep dish" wheels fit MB6 without camber adjustments? I mean ET 25 should be manageable if those JR3's fitted, right? But does wheel design affect how much it actually comes outwards? I've seen some EK and EG Civics with those wheels and they struggle i guess. Looks good on those but MB6 have stock ET of 55 vs. other Civics 40-45. Fenders and arches are pulled out as much as they can i'd say. Does anyone here have experience on fitting similar style wheels on MB6 without camber adjustments? Does pulled fenders and mild stretched tires solve it? Another problem i fear is caliper clearance in the front... Bigger calipers than stock Civics. If it needs spacers bigger than 3mm. i think it's a "no go" then. Assuming they would fit, what tire profile would be the best? I have now stock 15's and lowered car pretty much in the same level as wheels (stanced/slammed some would possibly say ).
