  1. Started with a little experiments a few months ago, just something to keep me busy in between jobs etc. Started out with an extra stock lid that goes on top of the trunk. Added a piece of plastic to lengthen it, melted it to shape and filled it with expanding foam This was still super experimental, started to cut the foam to shape but to start over since I wasnt satisfied with the basic shape. Also the third brake light position wasnt much to my liking. So back to the drawing board! Felt it was too short to, so I extended it using a Citroen C3 rear wing thingy. This was long enough, so I was off to shaping and smoothing filled everything up, fill, sand, repeat. sprayed some primer on it, more sanding. Tried to use lines to get it as closely symmetrical as I could. Now I needed to fill in the underside too, I've kept the third brake light in its original location. Used foam and glassfibre to create a strong base. Again, loads of sanding and filling to get everything nice and smooth. Almost there! Have to figure out a way to shape the surrounding filler to fit the third brakelight nicely.

  8. Hi all. Been having a look on the net and here but no luck. Below are some pics of rust under the chassis of my aerodeck. Looks like its where the inner wing panel joins the floor. There's the factory seam sealer which has started coming away as well. Quite a lot of flaking metal which to me doesn't seem good... I'm hoping it can be cut out and plated without top much hassle. I did wonder about cutting the same section out of a good body and having that welded in place... pics below are the drivers side, passenger is similar. Any suggestions? Strange thing is its not been noted on previous mot tests.

  11. Has anyone here bought new aftermarket front fenders for their MB6? Or just got used ones from scrap yard etc. ? I was wondering if the aftermarket ones fits directly or if there are any seam gaps, if the headlight and bonnet fit to it properly etc. Things that can go wrong. Diederichs makes them but couldn't find those. I got myself Polcar ones. https://catalog.polcar.com/#!KatKatalogGlowny/fender-front-381102/492184 Should i try fitting them first before getting them painted at a shop? I was thinking of putting them on later in spring. But could get them painted already. Any bodypanel/exterior info would be welcome in this forum. Considering aftermarket parts especially.
  12. Hi guys kinda of a odd first question. for the people who have split there head lights to either paint the inside black or to do projector conversion, could someone tell me the dimensions of the internal head light bucket mainly width and hight. also look to put a spoiler on my mb as the ducktail didn't work out what goes well on them? Thanks Ben

  14. Hey everyone! So im new to this forum stuff and its my first civic so please be patient if i ask newbie questions lol So i have the 1.5 petrol and have got everything ive wanted except for the front lip. It seems impossible to find even a replica. Does anyone know were i can get hold of a vtis lip to fit my mb2? Ideally one that includes delivery? Ive seen some mb6 breakers on gumtree but its collection only and these guys are over 200 miles away from me - not worth it! Seen another on gumtree but its £120 just for a front lip which i think is way too much. Any help where i can get one? Thanks!

    Mud Guards

Hi, desperately looking for a full set of mud guards for the MB's, preferably new or in good condition. If not then I would take the rears only, maybe somebody has taken them off to fit a VTIS lip? Arranged to buy some from somebody on eBay but once again an eBay seller is letting me down. Have the front ones fitted so feel kind of stupid without rear ones also. But the front ones are quite worn so wouldn't mind replacements. Thanks!
  16. Hi new to the forum, picked up this mb6 totally standard apart from coilover a month ago and since then I've added an omp wheel and quick release, new carpets, added an aem induction kit, aluminium rad and red coolant hoses, decat, custom spark plug cover, bonnet raisers and few wee tidy up bits, I've owned a few hondas before this, had am ej6 civic coupe with a b18c4 conversion and also owned an accord type r, but its quite a clean mb6 so don't want to do to much to it or anything done it can be put back, but interested in probably one of the most asked questions of making the custom projector headlights? And looking a nice set of alloys, recommendations? Thanks
  17. Hello, I got a WHITE 2001 Honda Civic 1.4i ma/mb and I'm desperately looking for some body pieces : Hood and bumper in WHITE colors. 21. Hi, im currently restoring a 99 VTi-S aerodeck and in looking for a few bits to get her all sorted. Currently what I need most is a set of OEM fog lights and brackets in good condition, a set of Aerodeck gas struts for the boot lid, a set of sun visors and a rear view mirror. Also not 100% necessary but would be nice is a set of good condition headlight, as mine has a small amount of haze and one snapped off mounting lug, mint hazard light and rear heated screen buttons and the trim from under the dash with the pull down tray in mint condition. Thanks for looking
  22. Hi guys. So I'm looking to tidy up the old girl. Previous owners somewhere along the lines must have hit every corner on her. Looking mainly for front and rear bumpers. Don't think the vti front with lip would fit too well with the amount she's currently lowered but a helping hand would be great. Thanks Nathan
