  1. I've never seen an MC3 before, I thought they only existed in brochures.
  2. Yeah man, was a great weekend! Speaking of dyno... VTEC YOOOOOOOOO.
  3. Few snaps of my MB6 from the weekend. I'll grab some more after my friends upload their pictures to Facebook for me. Found someone in need of a dechrome. MB6 receiving a well-deserved service. Engine oil changed, gearbox oil changed, timing belt and tensioner changed, then an air con delete because who even uses air con?! At Santa Pod with a few friends. Shafzzz's 325i is in front of my MB6 (only time it was). Amazing parking. Waiting our turns at Dynodaze. Also I have a video coming, just waiting for YouTube.
  4. Tried every damn bulb I had, none of them lit up. Very likely a wiring fault then. Need to double check with a multi-meter of course.
  5. I'll give this a shot. Hope it's just a case of crap bulbs and not a wiring fault.
  6. Took the MB6 to Santa Pod and Dynodaze this weekend after getting it serviced. I'll photowhore later but for now here's the figures I got: Dynodaze: 162bhp@7549rpm 122ft-lb@5998rpm Santa Pod: 15.68@89.44mph So happy.
  7. Tried this, still no brake lights. Also checked other fuses, same results. Checked both. Every fuse is in good working order.
  8. Today I was told by the guy behind me that only my spoiler brake light was coming on. So when I get to work I check the bulbs, both are fine. I turn the sidelights on, my tails light up. Must be a fuse then? Where on earth is the fuse for the brake lights? No where in the owners manual or the fuse box diagrams does it say "brake lights". So I Google the issue and find a couple of threads (one from here) and it's apparently an annoying wiring fault that's going to be a ball-ache to fix. The car is MOT'd until December but tax runs out July 31st. So I figure it's probably worth just getting another car instead of continuing to fix the MB3.

    Is this VTEC?

    16 valves kicked in yo!

    Is this VTEC?

Mine does it too. It's when 16v mode takes over from 12v/econo mode.
  11. The MB3 is not enjoying driving around with a wounded mirror. It blew the fuse to the heater controls this morning. Didn't have any spare 7.5A fuses so I took the one from the rear fog. Never foggy enough round here to need it anyway. Still debating with myself about getting an OEM replacement or getting those aftermarket ones I linked before. For now I've jammed a cracked driver side mirror in so I can at least have a functional mirror.
  12. Would anyone mind linking to the plugs and leads they use? Just so others know what's been tried and tested already.
  13. I'm sure I'll be able to make it last an afternoon anyway.
  14. Just found these on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-45-MG-ZS-5dr-Pair-Of-Manual-Door-Wing-Mirrors-Black-Plastic-/171287455671?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27e18727b7#viTabs_0 Think I might just pick these up instead of paying £20+ for a single MB one!
  15. The MB6 is like "I wish I could share this driveway with you bro".
  16. There goes an afternoon then. Might look for a band-aid fix in the mean time. Might be. I think it's where the rain has washed some of the mud splatter though.
  17. Yeah once I get paid at the end of the week I'll be getting one off Adam. How easy/hard is it to replace wing mirrors by the way? Can it be done without pulling the door card off?
  18. Only just noticed the MB3's mirror is hanging off in this picture I took at about 1pm yesterday. Kicking myself for not noticing it all day now.
  19. Nope. Corsa in front is fine, as is my MB6 and my neighbours' cars. Might go wander up the road to check others later.
  20. Started my morning by seeing my wing mirror hanging by a couple of wires with some glass shards under it. The only way the wing mirror stays on now. I think it's definitely been vandalised, no evidence of another car hitting it that I can see.
  21. Liking the progress so far! Has a hatchback rear lip ever been fitted to a Deck before?
