  1. Some pics of my late Dads Merc 2.0 190E auto which has been stuck in the garage since 2008. Needs an Mot, new rad, brakes most probably. It was his pride and joy. I start it up here and there to bring her out for a bit of tlc. The motor has covered 172, 000 and sounds great. If I had the penny's I'd put it straight back on the road.
  2. As my daily mileage has increased to around 16 miles I thought instead of adding mileage on the Aerodeck I will get another daily. Maximum budget was £400. Found this little beauty. Nissan Micra R reg K11 1.0 Litre. Its got 81K mileage with part service history. Same owner since 2001 who seem to have looked after it very well. Ideally I was looking for a Red micra but settled on this as it was too good to miss on the price I got it for . Here are some pics. I will take some more later Hope you guys like it

Chances are if you’ve been to a car show or event in the last few years, you would have seen Ian from http:/www.popbangcolour.com/ creating stunning artwork with the help of his remote control cars. So, here’s how to enter: Using no more than 250 words on this post reply, describe the car you would like Pop Bang Colour to paint for you and why it holds a special place in your heart. This could be your first car, your dream car, basically any car that has a back story. From all entries across the forums this competition post is featured, 2 people from the Adrian Flux Forum team and Ian himself will select the winning entry they feel is the most original and interesting. 2 runners up will win a print of their choice from http://www.popbangcolourshop.com https://twitter.com/Popbangcolour https://www.facebook.com/popbangcolour https://www.instagram.com/popbangcolour/ Good luck. 14. How to display your photos in a post. NOTE: For uploading photos direct to the forum, the limit is 5mb per post. So 1 photo that is 5mb, or two photos that are 2.5mb each and so on. You can easily add photos to your post! When creating a topic, Look at the bottom left corner of the box. You will see "Attach Files". Click the "choose files" button next to it to upload your photos from your computer to the forum. Then next to each uploaded photo, click the "add to post" button. Simples! If on the other hand you have photos stored on a site like photobucket etc that you want to show, you can do it the following way. Your photo will be given various URL's (links) by photobucket etc, Its these links that you need, as these are what you post on the forum. The forum will then recognize the link as a photo/image link, and display your photo here on the site. Ok, now the instructions. 1. Choose the photo you want to show. 2. Upload the photo to a photo hosting site, such as http://www.photobucket.com (you may have to register on whatever site you choose to host your photos.) 3. Once logged into your photo hosting site, you will see a list of "URL's" (links) next to your photo. The one you need is the "Direct link" (Photobucket images only) 4. Copy the "Direct link" url of your photo, and paste it into your post on civic5. 5. Done!! That was easy!

  17. Hello One and All, I am a brand new member living near to Bath, UK and have always been hugely enthusiastic about motorcars and Japanese Motorcycles. I hesitate to rush in where angels fear to tread, but am I permitted to enquire about another Make and Model, where parts no longer available/hard to source reliably may be interchangeable with, say, a Honda Civic? Front brake caliper carriers for example?
  18. just got my mb6 civic Very clean tiny bit of rust on rear arch getting sorted very soon And on the 7th of may having a b18c6 fitted from one of my Honda friends using p73 ecu should be a bit more fun then Currently on Koni shocks and springs Toyo proxy which are going asap for ad08r Full manifold back exhaust

    Weetec CRV

Hi people, my crv.. I ended up with a crv 2002 . needed it as civic mb's were to smalll for my 10yr,4yr,and 2yr old kids. (I'll take family planning seriously next time) ... Never looked back. Wish I bought the 05-06 for its upgrades but the headlights ain't nice compared to the 02. Flat floor pan great for rear seat passengers. Stereo is far to reach however great for a 7inch double din screen. Average 50-55miles to £10. Rear seats recline so great if kids fall asleep. Great child seat legroom. huge torque It slips power to the rear when front wheels loose traction. . Great for launches on wet junctions! Grumbles a bit but it's on 110k now and Iv done 10k of that no problems. Spare wheel is now in boot so making the boot door and parking easier. It's got a huge picnic table in the back but I took it out. (spare wheel raised the floor 2inch) Noisy cabin but hey can have it all... Had to lower it on h&r springs. It was all over the show. Energy engine mount inserts fitted. It's no fast ride but bags of torque. Nice sitting high up. Easier getting in and out.. The big s**tter is the rear door, wished it opened up and not out! But the rear glass opens up like the Eg's. (that's why I took rear wheel off a si I can stretch in both sides. Sadly tdi North told me it's ECU is un- mappable. Consider it a D-series of the modern K civics with a mild vtec crossover. Warning! Exhaust cam suffered premature lobe wear! Happens to all early crv's. Got mine swopped just in time as I was looking under the cam cover and nearly had a heart attack. Picture below Spoiler off ctdi model fitted pic below
  21. Probably been covered loads but can't find it. Can you get a grill for them like mesh ect or is it a diy job

    new forum

regarding the new forum. if might be nice if the pictures on each of the links to the threads were clickable rather than just the title
  23. Well, it's taken longer than we thought, but we're back! We have carried out a major upgrade to the forum to the very latest IPS 4 platform, which has also seen us upgrade our server too. So why upgrade? Well, as we have found, a lot of our members are visiting the forum using tablets and mobile phones. The problem being, our old forum wasnt any good on those devices, with no photo upload features available etc. So it wasn't very future proof. Plus, it was looking, well, old and crap! This new forum has the perfect platform for mobile users, because all the features you use in the full screen version are right there in the mobile/tablet versions too. The whole layout is different too, looking very slick. the gallery is also back! This time it's open to all members, and the most recent photos are shown across the top of the forum. So your car could be there for all to see! We still have our regular Members Cars section for more detail about your car so keep the project threads going! Oh, did we say that you can also upload Videos in the gallery too? lol Yes, you can also show off videos now. Hand with the summer approaching and the meets all starting! We're still working on a few things in the forum so other pages etc will start to appear as we go along. You may find the forum is running a bit slower at the moment as it's got a load of background tasks running which is recompiling all the posts, topics and media. If you find any errors, let us know! So, we hope you like the new forum and enjoy using it. We've invested big time in our goal of taking civic5 forward, but it's all worth it. So have fun and get posting! Dave
  24. You can "Tag" members in the forum just like you do on Facebook and other social media sites. Here's how! 1. In the topic you want to let them know about, click the reply button. 2. Now add the "@" sign to your post. 3. Start typing the members username and a box will appear. Select the members name from the box. The members name will be highlighted in blue. (see Image) 4. Then add whatever text you want to your post before submitting it like you normally do. Or no text at all, it's up to you! 5. Click submit. Done! The member will get a notification telling them they've been tagged and a link to the post.
  25. Our new Video Gallery App is a great feature for sharing your favourite videos. Like the Photo Gallery, it displays all the videos with thumbnails (small images) in a grid layout gallery. Making it easy to browse all the videos the we have here on Civic5! When you post a video in the Video app, it is instantly displayed in the forums main page too (in the side bar, latest videos) so means everyone will be able to see it and view it. It's very easy to use, just follow this simple guide. (mobile version of this guide will follow shortly) 1. Go to Youtube (or which ever site your video is on) and copy the URL (the address in your browsers address bar).(see Image below) 2. Go back to the forum, and look at the menu bar. Click on the "Video" tab. 3. The gallery will open. Click on the "Add Video" button. 4. A pop up box will appear. Click on "Select" 5. Choose the category to put your video in. We chose "Videos". Now click "Continue". 6. Now we add details for your video. First we add a name for our video. 7. The "Media type" box we leave as it is. The Media URL is where we put the URL to our video (the link we copied earlier). The "Add extra videos option we leave as it is. 8. Now we add in text like we would do in a normal post in the forum. Can be what ever you like. 9. Click the submit button....................job done! Your video will be added to the Video Gallery! Now that you understand how to upload a video, there's an even quicker way to do it! Just look at the top of the forum, and click the "Create" button. This gives you a drop down menu for creating topic, video, gallery etc. For adding videos to video gallery on your phone, see this How to guide >>> CLICK
