The info you need for an MB3- The wheel PCD (pitch circle diameter) is 100mm- you have 4 studs obviously. Many Japanese cars like the Accord are 114.3mm, but some earlier Civics are 100mm. The size of the centre bore is 56.1mm (used mostly by Honda and Vauxhall, aftermarket wheels will reduce down to this size with spigot rings no probs). This is important Honda are 'hub centric' (the weight of the car is taken by the wheel not the wheel studs). The stock ET ('einpress tiefe' or 'insertion depth' in English) is 45mm. Between ET45 and ET38 will usually not throw up many handling issues unless you have very wide rims. ET numbers are always stamped on wheels originally sold in the UK. Not many alloys use Hondas style of wheel nut so you may need new ones if going aftermarket. The thread size is M12 x 1.5mm.

The mailman brought some goodies today: The centre caps fit nice and snug and the ngk's i've good experience with. But most importantly got the wheels rebored today. So the total cost for my new winter wheels is: Wheels 100€ Petrol to get them 60€ Centre caps 30€ Centre bore re-bore 60€ total: 250€ / 210£ Not bad, i think. Still haven't testfitted them with the new bore but the guy who made it assured it'll be perfect, or he'll do them again for free. This weekend i think i'm going to schedule some polishing...

I'd offer one of mine but the first set I got are probably no good anymore and I can't remember what happend to the pair I got when I renewed, I just remember being really p1ssed on ale then I haven't seen them since......there might just be someone wandering around with a Civic5 sticker on their face!

I actually thought the same about wheels! Had a look on their webpage just now, does list a load of cards they accept so my guess is that they'll accept a credit card! So I'm going to ring them tomorrow and see if she's still there and what time they open! I'll need to be back in Notts no later than about 1:30-2pm! Not worried about the travel time or mileage as she's stuck in my head. Must buy, must buy......

Well today my MA has been to get some new lower profile tyres fitted as the 205/50R16 ones were too big and made my car slower! So I got some pirelli 195/45R16's put on, and as soon as I drove away the car instantly felt better, love the way it drives now and I also went to the breakers yard and got hold of a replacement gearbox with 73k on, I have also purchaced a Vti lip off (ammarbm) so in the proces off getting that on too And she is being slammed soon! Now she's on smaller tyres. Just need ideas on how low I should go. Ill get some pics up tomoz of the tyres before and after so you can see the difference

and anyway I'm buying something for the car this weekend anyway....
