  13. Reference the RRC intake manifold there is a place in the states called Endyn performance who specialise in manifold (intake) porting, here is a few pics of an RRC intake they worked on recently. This would be great with a ported K20 head You would have to be careful with this though, you could easily blow the welds on the intake

  14. Thanks for the info Dave, much appreciated yours sits lovely with that set-up I can afford to go a little lower at the back but the front is already a problem with it just being 20mm lower than stock, that's due to having a 3" exhaust and low hanging exhaust header. Catches already on speed bumps etc so I can afford to go another 15-20mm on the rear but no lower on the front. I guess that's the beauty of coilovers though, gives you the option to fiddle with the ride height until you are satisfied with how it looks and drives. It's a very good setup that but i'm very limited with how low I can go at the front Cheers Dave got to see your MB2 K26 beast in the flesh too (or metal) did you get that fueling issue sorted? I noticed on the TDI page you were there yesterday 225lbs ft of torque is unreal for a NA honda motor Happy with mine but there are still a few tweaks to be made, tempted to swap out the RBC for an RRC with a 70mm throttle body next year, re-design the intake so there are no steps. Needs to be a good smooth flow to ensure it makes power at the top end. Also a set of Toda valve springs and a ported head with S2000 oil pump get it revving beyond 9K!

  15. Lets get a proper picture up of the gorgeous btcc machine.. And I would say keep the mb3 if funds are tight, as someone said earlier Daves getting 130bhp out of his mb3 which is more than my mb4 and it flies! Watch the video

  16. ah i see, im old and forgot how expensive car insurance is for younger people these days. Im sure you could find all the mini me info on the net if you hunt about. Like hickster said changing your gearbox would make a big difference and maybe a lighter flywheel too, decent lowered suspension too will make it handle better and quicker through the corners too. These things m8ght not add power but they will make your car quicker.

  19. Not quite 25 combined against 41 iirc, have temporarily lost my Honda mpg figures but there is a thread with them on somewhere. Tax is £125. The point I was making is that the MB3 is not sh!t, the MB6 though obviously superior in performance is not for everybody. Especially for younger drivers the performance difference may not be worth the cost. The '3 is a very capable all rounder but like all M's suffer from an Image problem when actually it compares well against cars marketed as being fairly sporty.

  23. As Krzys said mine isn't silly low but it is quite low (about 75mm at the front, 65mm at the rear) but if you have a look at Dave's (Boss Dave), his is on meister's too and only lowered by around an inch all round. http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/523-re-daves-mb6-vti-build-up-aka-ruby-update-15813/page-7

  24. Nice one mate! She's holding up really well and especially for that mileage. Not so much about the engine because Honda's are bullet proof (obviously) but what's around the car, like suspension an all. I love how my 17 year old MB3 is faultless! Fly's through the MOT every time without any advisories in the last 3 years of owning her. She's a gem!
