yeah, the auxiliary belt were well past it. so glad there changed. all i can say is; if you do want honda to do your cambelt, get a water pump from tegiwa, and if it does need it, it's not a 2day wait to get one from belgium.2 points

Just thought I'd share a bit of useful info I came across fitting the leathers into my VTi-S. My original seats are from a facelift and the leathers are pre-facelift. The fronts are bolt off/bolt on which is fine. The rears aren't entirely the same, small differences. Rear catches/hooks/hoops: Facelift on the left and pre-facelift on the right. Note the bolt hole sizes are different with facelift being 10mm, I have to bore out the pre-facelift catch and make the holes a bit wider too so they'd line up on the bulkhead. This is not a threaded hole so is fine. Note here the different fixings used for each type of catch: Also had the same issue with the rear seatback brackets, pre-facelift has smaller holes but aren't threaded so made bigger with a drill! Also don't remove and the refit upside down like I did.... Also these brackets are different between pre and face-lifted interiors, not interchangable. Another thing, the bit of plastic trim the catches sit in are interchangable and if you can I would recommend you do change them, least that way you won't need to cut any of it or have smaller catches in a larger hole, just looks better in my opinion. Finally, seatbelts, pre-facelift has center lap belt and facelift has 3-point middle (same as the end ones known as 3x3). If you are changing from pre-facelift to facelift or the other way around you will need to transfer the rear seat belt anchors over as well, bolt-off/bolt on job. Hope this is helpful!2 points

I striped off all the old fabric and foam with a wire brush. Then lined it with a foam backed headlining fabric I found on egay, sprayed both parts with glue then stuck together. Used a wallpaper seam roller to smooth it over2 points

I have Civic bulb holders so that's what I used, good to know others use the same type of locks though! As you said, it's an easy enough job, I used block connectors to make life easier.1 point

There is a good how to in the tech section on here for changing the fuel filter. If you unscrew the petrol cap that depressurizes the system so you don't lose much fuel. Where did you get that knob from??1 point

Basically yes! But not by the local car wash, I have a mate who does mobile valeting so I'll get him round to give it a going over! I need to acquire some gear so I can start doing it myself! Been many years since anyone at home bothered so as you can imagine anything that's left is probably no good or just cheap/poor!1 point

I'll get mine cleaned before driving down but it won't be a patch on the others that have been done to the level yours got done!1 point

It's easy mate, you need a pair of tail light bulb holders with wiring and for the above set up which I have the same, just join the same coloured wires together, remove the reverse light bulb and put the fog in that spot with a red bulb on it! On the holder for the top stop/tails I used a Stanley blade to shave the small line off the side as it stops the holders going in, the two main locks are enough to hold them in!1 point
