Got my temporary bootlid to a point where I can use it. I fudged the paint up.. well for the best part it looked really good. You will see in the pics where I didn't put enough lacquer in number plate area. But can probably polish that out. But there was a couple of runs (what happens when painting in the dark with led light) so sanded the runs out and vinyl wrapped it for now. Better luck next time. The original boot is gonna be painted same colour as wheels when I've decided.

Got my tyre sorted and decided to treat the MB3 to a 99p car wash (and some hand-scrubbing after to remove some stubborn dirt) today. She cleans up well!

Blue wing is now primed have flatted it off and resprayed the bits that did not look A1 just waiting for it to harden so i can flat it for the final time then its ready for the sprayers And while i was out there with primer i primed up the spare rear chrome strip ready for pirates black to be layed down on it

Most of us have done it now so I think he's ran out of people to say it to for the first time!

We like repetition here though! Makes us feel comfortable!

Here's the usdm conversation on mine with LED side lights. They indicate brighter as these are on the dimmer filament which is why you can get away with it

Right all worked well today on the smx you will Have to use pliers when connecting as the cable I have attached is quite thick skinned. But does work!! It took me 25 minutes to instal from start to finish on the smx

Was good to actually go in the BMW properly instead of in a car park. Definitely a good car and the VANOS YO! kicks in nicely.

Sounds great. It can rattle the MB to pieces, or it can give a nice kick whilst allowing you to enjoy your music. Mine is set more towards the latter description.

I think I'd give my misses a nervous breakdown if I lived that close to a place like Autobrite.

Had a great weekend with Roj in London for Japfest, and a great time at Japfest and seeing the other MB/MC's on the civic5 stand... despite the weather! Was an eventful weekend from sorting out Roj's subwoofer til 2am on the Saturday Morning.. to then embark on the journey to Japfest at 4am having not slept for over 24hrs! Then a Gumball 3000 supercar meet at Krispy Kremes the next day, whole weekend of meets then! His MB6 performed beautifully and I got to take him out in the BMW, I'll let him give his own opinion but all I can say is... I love this car more and more every time I drive it, from the power delivery to the refinement to the chassis balance, I don't see myself having a non BMW daily driver ever again! But when it comes to my toy.. I may just have to get a Honda, Roj's MB6 did tempt me a bit but we'll see what's available at the time. Some of the pics I took of mine and Roj's car.. No real changes except I'm going to a meet on Sunday so hopefully someone takes good shots of my car, got to wash her beforehand though!

Yeah looks tidy I guess. Not a huge fan of the carbon wrap thing now. Think I over did it before on the old mb. But still it'll do for now. Kinda makes me want a real carbon TAIL! !!!!!

b18c4 with a tdo4 (thats tt & s3 turbo isnt it?) would work well.. Obv with the right set up, decent intercooler, wastegate, injectors, chipped p28 etc etc will see a realiable 240 all day ..

i wish it was my house - i would love to live in a castle think how many cars i could park in the grounds and how many animals i could have oooh the possibilities lol! it appears even with a damaged foot i can still take photos! although i think @craigblight got a bit irritated with me having to be carried haha!

Ok so was after a new car and after owning 5 hondas and getting boed of my current Skoda Octavia 20v Turbo, I thought i'd go back to Honda so browsing when all of a sudden this popped up on a local facebook page.... Needless to say i went straight over there. The chap said in the advert it would require a few things for MOT which is due in a month. Took it for a quick spin and drove beautifully. For the price he had it up for i snapped it up and took her home. It drove spot on and on the 5 mile drive home i noticed a few things - It was bouncing all over the place - The drivers window reg had 'Hondaitis' (the usual goes up and leaves a small inch gap at the top ) - Had the original Pioneer tape deck ..... cool but useless - Majority of the standard speakers were blown - I dont like lime green!! so had a quick glance under the wheels and my suspicions were confirmed... COILOVER SLEEVES!!!!! So first couple of quick things.. Seats were a bit worn so quick tidy up and the major thing... Those wheels have to go!!! so i made a call and after a straight swap obtained my old wheels from a friend - So suspension has to be replaced with some coilovers or decent springs.. - engine bay needs some goodies as its boring at the moment - Gunna give the paint a full detail and see how she comes up Let me know what u think

Well my lip spoiler is looking better this afternoon, I've offered it up and it looks much more like it, not the greatest finish but we'll see what the polish does. I couldn't really get much done yesterday because this was happening. So got on with some polishing today. So all nicely polished and waxed, she's flipping beautifully now. Lip spoiler drying in the background.
